How do you imagine good ol' Barristan's end?

He will fall of the stairs. He seems to hate them know. No honor and no glory. Only a broken neck. I would really dress in lute for days if these happena. But I think it will

Die defending Meereen for Dany.

Either will die in heroic fashion, defending the gate or something along those lines.

Or

If Dragonbinder is real, he'll be cooked in his armour by viserion & rhaegal

Barristan wants to die in the battlefield defending his Queen, possibly in his next battle.

So of couse he won't.

He's also one of those characters, like Stannis that people keep betting that "he will die in the next one" in literally every book that is released. There's probably people who thought he would die in TWOIAF or The She-Wolves of Winterfell, so that's a point for him.

My bet is that he dies:

I- Fighting an Other in the War for Dawn;

II- Of old age as Lord Commander of the KG of whoever is King or Queen;

III- Dany goes mad and he becomes a Kingslayer- not sure what happens after that.

Barristan will be killed by remaining Sons of the Harpy after the battle is won, right along with his swordboys.

GRRM will create a very desolate situation for Dany (and us), forcing her to leave Meereen and take her people to promised lands.
