The King's Justice
Just something i noticed. Since Davos brought a letter to Jon to read asking for the wildlings to ride south, does this mean that Stannis wrote the Pink Letter to goad Jon into riding south?? Ashlesha
I think the scroll does hold key to the next season. The scroll is unusually longer compared to the usual parchments. Jon Snow has not yet opened it and we can see the scroll still on his table unopened. Just before Olly interrupts him .
Varamyr'sSeventhSkin
Stannis is not the kind of guy who would knowingly falsify a document. I don't believe he wrote the pink letter.
Ludo Kressh
I thought Davos left it behind. In the scene when Stannis sends him to the Wall he doesn't even take it. But he gives it to Jon? I must have missed something.
idio
No I don't believe so.However, I think the Pink Letter is coming and it really was written by Ramsey:Sansa and Theon have now escaped and will end up at the Wall. Ramsey will deduce they left to join Jon Snow, whom he personally told Sansa is acting Lord Commander. They need Sansa for the North and he'll stop at nothing to get her back. He writes the Pink Letter to the Wall addressed to Jon, either not knowing he's dead or knowing he's still there (revived!)
Mithras
Stannis wrote it but the purpose was not to goad him into riding south. He wrote it before the battle with Ramsay. He wanted to warn Jon to take precautions for a possible Bolton victory.
