Padraig
I'm confused, but I'll happily get drunk with just about anyone. Sounds like Cerys.

Padraig
I was going to say Harry Potter isn't out till the following week...but there might be previews sometime this weekend. Maybe. And we just had a good weekend weatherwise...so its ominous for next week.
Bronn Stone
If Potter is available, count me in!
Filippa Eilhart
but it's out in the UK, Pod! You mean Ireland is not part of the UK???
Bronn Stone
I know there have been premieres, but I didn't think the film was in general release anywhere.
Padraig
Exactly Bronn...its certainly not on general release at the moment.
Sophelia
Sophie, Zollo and Cerys Are we all agreed on 'the red bar' for a meeting point? Fine by me. *can't wait* (Practices lurching in advance)
Lyanna Stark
OMG Harry Potter. *jumps up and down* You should have seen me when I first spotted the trailer in TV. Jumping up and down squeeling, calpping my hands and giggling like a four-year-old. Sort of the same effect as China Mieville had on me, surprisingly. China = Harry? Edda van Heefmstra Ruston
So far UGC isn't listing any previews on their website. I'll check papers / In Dublin later and see if anyplace else might be showing. I doubt it, though - the earliest preview I've seen was the Tuesday before general release (Friday). Fingers crossed, though!!
Padraig
I'm sure we will survive if it is not on. Btw, at what times are we able to get the key for the house on Thursday? I vaguely recall a mention of "after 4:30pm". But is there a deadline also? Like before 6:30pm?

But is there a deadline also? Like before 6:30pm? I am trying to get the lovely ladies of the house to let me know 1) exactly when the key can be picked up and 2) whether I have to do it or whether I can designate a delegate! zollo
Aoife/Pad, Will we need plug-converters for e.g. mobile phone adapters like the ones we have to use in England?
Edda van Heefmstra Ruston
Aoife/Pad, Will we need plug-converters for e.g. mobile phone adapters like the ones we have to use in England? Yes, it's the same three-prong plug as you'll find in the UK, so those adapters will work (and yes you'll need them). The key can be picked up any time between 4pm and 9pm on Thursday. Anybody still going to be sober at 4, or will I go in after work, collect it, and then meet you all someplace?
zakalwe7
och, if it's 4pm it might be easier if you pick it up Aoife? I'll be by then
Edda van Heefmstra Ruston
Thought that might be the case. It'll be closer to 6 before I can get up there to get it, though, if anybody wants to be in earlier (and thereby volunteers to stay sober long enough to collect the key)...
