What would have been the situation in the Reach if House Gardener had survived ?

How do you think that the story and geopolitics of the Reach and the Seven Kingdoms would have been if the Field of Fire didn't kill all of House Gardener males ? 

What would have been the changes introduced by the house survival ?

For one thing, House Peake would still be a powerful house that was fully ingratiated to their overlords, so they’re much less likely to court treason so many times. Also House Florent would be more complacent.

They’d be in power and the Tyrells would be minor nobles at best. Next to that we can’t really know anything because we really don’t know what their house was like.

The Reach would most likely be more united in the early part of the rule of the Targaryen. That could change quite alot or not so mich but it could mean that things like the faith rebellion could amhave had even more support or even less official support. And I dont see the Dance happening with a strong house in control of the Reach. In the end I would say that a more united Reach means that most of the civil wars would be one sided.

The yoke of the TargAryan opressors would've been overthrown long ago. Tyrells were only able to consolidate their powers quite recently and they were grateful to the TargAryans. If the Reach was under Gardener rule, we could've expect the TargAryan's getting sent back to their poor island to go seed the peasants and no dragons left.
