aeverett
While traveling down the Rhoyne to Volantis, when their boat were attacked by stone men, Jon Connington contracts greyscale, yet Tyrion, who actually gets handled by a stone man, doesn't. Theories as to why? Edited October 26, 2023 by aeverett

Theories as to why? Plot armor. Or the stone man only touched his clothes, whereas JonCon grabbed the stone man trying to save Tyrion. An in-universe explanation might be the same as the real life equivalent of several people being in a room with some infectious with Covid - some catch it, some don't. Why? - a mystery. For the out-universe explanation - as Jaenara says: plot armour. Jaenara Belarys

I feel like that's a pretty weak thing, it should be easy to grab a hand, touch the face, shove up a sleeve.
Back in Black-Snow
*I kinda think Tyrion did contract grayscale. We just haven't seen any signs of it yet. I think this will be his ultimate ending, and we will cry and weep. His ultimate act of evil will be letting his desire for revenge and the grayscale influence his advice to Dany. Or I'm on crack. I think I'm on crack. * I don't actually think this. Jaenara Belarys
