If the plotline indicated the Jon has to die similar to the previous pattern of Ned and Robb dying, then he will. That being said, I'd still be pretty floored if it were true.I put the Hodor thing kind of low. Bear with me. It's comical to think that Hodor would ever say anything else but, if Bran were in Hodor's skin, he might do something very stupid and, if the circumstances were right (in the middle of a fight where Meera is about to be hit from behind, for instance), he might...slip up and reveal that he's been committing a taboo. So, really, Bran-as-Hodor saying something other than "hodor": 6. Hodor himself saying something other than "hodor": 10.I've been waiting for Gendry to become a narrator. I don't, however, think Jon will die.At this point I'm really interested to see exactly how Martin approaches the issue. By all previous evidence, reviving him with R'hollr Power would taint him and just would not make a good story. I can't think of any way killing him off would make a good story. I also don't think "the stabbed Jon is a glamored somebody else" is a good story. Soooo, Martin better come up with something good. Luckily he usually can.
