1. Tyrion didn't prove too useless at the Battle of Blackwater where he delayed Stannis long enough to let Twyin come in and take all the credit for the victory.

4. I love Jaime, but Cersei is living proof of why he is one of the worst fathers in all of Westeros.

7. She wasn't actually a whore, so he terrorized an innocent girl to try and humiliate his son, falsely leading Tyrion to believe he could only ever be with a whore. Wow so badass of him.

Shireen Baratheon

1. She befriend a giant

1 - She is highborn, but makes friends with commoners easily, and cares about their fate.

2 - Defended Mycah from a crown prince Joffrey's cruelty. When questioned about what happenned, she told the truth, right to the king and queen's face.

3 - Reluctantly drove Nymeria away, because she knew it was necessary to save her life.

4 - Thanks to that and her warg ability, Nymeria becomes the Genghis Khan of wolves.

5 - Has a strong sense of honour and justice, and the inner strength to fight for both. She defends the helpless and punishes the guilty.

6 - She is a natural warrior - quick, sharp-minded, brave, and fierce. Her killing skills of any sort grow exponentially with any training or experience she receives.

7 - She is a survivor - tough-minded, disciplined, self-reliant, and not afraid of toil or discomfort. She survived and escaped King's Landing, survived the Riverlands, and walks the mean streets of Braavos without fear.

8 - She cares little for fashion and material comforts, or typically "soft" social expectations, enjoying the wild places all around her, and setting her own path in life.

9 - When her parents were going to be killed, she wanted to rescue them, no matter the danger to herself.

10 - She faced the Hound without fear - never letting up on the issue of what he had done and whom he had served. She broke his spirit.

11 - She survived being around Amory Lorch, Gregor Clegane, Tywin Lannister, the Bloody Mummers, and then Roose Bolton. They were none the wiser.

12 - She saved and then tricked Jaqen H'Ghar. She caused the overthrow of the Lannisters in Harrenhal.

13 - She is modest about her own beauty, to the point of not thinking she has any. (And yet, she clearly does.)

14 - She is very intelligent. She is quick to learn new skills, cunning, inventive, perceptive, shrewd, and focused. She has sharp instincts, and is not easily tricked.

15 - She is fiercely loyal to her family and the North - a true Stark of Winterfell.

Yes, i didn't think that was a strong enough point to mention. He cares about her, but he's been an absent father for most of her life. He was at KL until right before the start of the story, Shireen at Dragonstone. Probably Cressen has been more fatherly to her than Stannis.

Aegon VI, even though he's a new character he's become one of my favorites

1.) IMHO a breath of fresh air for the story.

2.) Gives me a Targ to cheer for. (It's really hard to root for Dany and the restoration of her families dynasty when she's just getting Darrio'd in Mereen)

3.) Doesn't take Hugo Hills shit.

4.) Than has Hugo saved.

5.) Varys king speech (I bet most of it is true.)

6.) Interesting cast of characters around him.

7.) Complete monkey wrench in several characters stories.

8.) Very existence means someone pulled a fast one on Tywin

9.) Seems brave. Leading the assault on SE and his handling of the GC.

10.) He's done in half a book what everyone has wanted Dany to do for 5 books now...

Robert Baratheon

1. He fights with a massively heavy and oversized warhammer.

2. He won three battles in one day.

3. Ned Stark is his best friend.

4. Jon Arryn practically raised him.

5. He likes his wine - "More Wine!!!"

6. He is jovial, especially to those he trusts.

7. He is not deceptive - he is who he is. Or, in other words, you get what you see.

8. He was able to keep seven kingdoms together for 15+ years - despite having a horrible marriage, a drinking / whoring problem and surrounded by enemies. (I know, I know - that was more John Arryn, but still, has to count for something).

9. He has been known to be highly effective at turning enemies into friends due to his personality.

10. Stannis is his brother (and Stannis is probably my second best character).
