Ramsay Gimp
But not going to Bitterbridge to claim the infantry, and more important, clarify the Tyrell position was a mistake. This huge force unaccounted on his back was a serious risk. They not only boosted Tywin force, but actually gathered the barges to cross the Blackwater rush. :agree: Even if he had taken the city and the Red Keep, Stannis would be in a very bad way
Marcus Agrippa
They should have let him into the city. Seriously, they could have killed him right then and there. Tywin would have been free of Joff and he would probably still be alive. Stannis would be dead and the only legit Baratheon left would by Shireen which would either be killed or married into the Lannister regime. No Song so Sweet
He could have taken Melisandre with him and not get trapped into BW bay with his whole fleet, but he didn't know of the Wildfire plan. Other than that, he did all that was possible.
Bright Blue Eyes
Littlefinger's work in the Blackwater is highly underestimated. As it was said before, even with the wildfire,Stannis would win if it werent for the Tyrell reinforcements in the last minute..which was Baelish's accomplishmentI think Stannis made a great mistake by giving Imry Florent the command of his fleet, since Stannis himself is the best navy commander he has,his attempt to please to Florents by giving them the honor of commanding the battle costed him the battleNot at all. Ser Imry Florent committed no mistakes. So Tywin wasn't even there now? :rolleyes:The Tyrells provided 80% of the force and lead the important detachments, didn't they? Trigger Warning
I doubt that scout ships would have uncovered the entire wildfire strategy. They go in and they see the towers, the Lannister ships sweep forward to block them. Oh no they have some towers with a chain better call off the entire amphibious assault. Ramsay Gimp
The Tyrells provided 80% of the force and lead the important detachments, didn't they? Yes, but Tywin had the command. He probably would have broken Stannis's host on his own at that point, as would the Tyrells
