Would you date a former Pornstar?

The reason why I ask is because I received a message from a woman from an on-line dating site and I recognized the pictures she has on her profile of that of a former pornstar. Now I know that the pictures she posted might not be the pornstar or that the pictures are really her but the ages of her and the pornstar match up.

But the question remains would you date a former pornstar?

A better question would be why wouldnt you? I guess if your a person who believes in the unwashable taint of sin then I can see why you wouldnt. Not that I am calling being a porn star sinful.

Oh I'm definitely wary of a scam but if she is the pornstar I'm thinking of I will definitely go on at least one date to see if sparks fly. But then again I have had many on-line chats with women and didn't make it to a face to face encounter by them backing out. We will have to see if it gets that far.

I suspect it's a scam.

A buddy of mine actually got messaged by some "model" who said she was in Asia, getting paid for a bikini shoot, but needed some help because the financial system was screwed up.

So she sent a check to my friend for something like $2,000, told him to cash it and send her only a part of it. He could keep the rest for his troubles.

Sensing a scam he asked the bank and they told him some banks put the money in your account before it gets verified. Then when the check is shown to be fake that money is deducted from your account.

Sounds similar to a scam someone tried to run on me a few years ago when I advertised for a roommate on Craigslist. Two separate hot European girls with rich uncles who were sending them to school in Boston contacted me. One even went so far as to send me a theoretical rent check. I never even opened the envelope.

I don't see why not, if she seems like a cool person and as long as it isn't something you would get hung up on.

I think I would have reservations about dating an active porn star, not through moral qulams but for a bunch of other reasons.

Yeah, sounds like the same thing.

It's kind of clever, as I suspect most people wouldn't realize why cashing a check could fuck you over.
