Leman Russ
As it says in the title, who do you think is in(going to be in) the best position to successfully defend humanity against the oncoming invasion?
Rickeen Baratheon
Stannis. He is a very good Commander; and, well, I believe the prophecy may be true, in the sense he will lead the battle against the Others.

Pero the first of His name
Jon "AA" Snow and Stannis "The Last E-Ro" Mannis Baratheon. Supported by Bran and Meli. We will see if dragons decide to do something after all and come as reinforcements (i would like to see Tyrion advise it).

Pero the first of His name
Theon. What is dead cannot die. I see Theon doing something sacrificial deep inside LoAW (Frodo/Sam/Gollum style). Perhaps Jaime too.
PatrickStormborn
There has been a lot of criticism about Dany as a ruler, but I think most readers can agree that she's naturally good at being a leader (whilst the opposite is true of Jon and Tyrion ... just like how Aegon the Conqueror's sisters were more suited to ruling than he was, whilst he was more suited to leading). She's charismatic, and manages to inspire fear and love and loyalty all at the same time.

But they could end up maximising each other's weaknesses just as well.actually the dragons inspire fear and love and loyalty not Dany. And they also enable her world-renown beauty. Is he gonna bite Jons finger off?No. Bran's
