With the way things are going it wouldn't surprise me if Games Workshop sues Martin for copywrite. Silver hair, black and red armour; like to burn things. :D

Edit- This is intended as a joke. Obviously Sisters of Battle armor is far too sexualized for anything remotely resembling it to ever be put in ASOIAF. Dany is far more likely to wear an adaptation of Rhaegars armor indistinguishable from it in all regards except her being shorter. This is purely as an offhand remark on how similar an aesthetic Sisters of Battle from Warhammer 40,000 have to Targaryens; which is most likely coincidental.

I wonder how her weak, untrained body would even walk in this.

She obviously needs the classic fantasy women armor - only breasts and crotch covered (barely).

Dude that battle sister armor is basically latex, I am sure Dany could easily walk in that wafer thin suit if she wanted to. How effective it would be is another matter entirely. :D

You think that armor is sexualized? Seriously? Or is my sarcasm detector broken?

Of course it is. Thats a very odd thing to say. Is my sarcasm detector broken? :D

More mild than that Kingdom Under Fire thing the other poster linked to I'll give you; but it still is. Tight form fitting armor so you can see how fit they are and you can't quite tell on the pic but they are wearing squat heels on their boots as well. The middle of the armor also resembles a corset. Its pretty clear what look they're going for. I don't have a problem with that. Realism shouldn't apply to space nuns with flamethrowers; especially not in 40k where everything is OTT (have you seen Dark Eldar?). But it is what it is.

Marc is not a"space" marine. Master chief is just a marine. The guys from alien are colonial marines.

Madness...

Really, they're so gonna sue Martin for copying the Sister of Battle look for Targaryens. "They have the same hair! Sue them!" :D

BTW, I know I said this as a joke, but Dany would look pretty sexy and badass all the same in Sisters of Battle armor. I just think Martin avoids that sort of aesthetic on principle. Other fantasy books like Wheel of Time don't, like when Elayne gets form fitting armor for her female lancers for instance.
