Personally I'd rather stick to the 5 ASOIAF books, but I will not remove any character who gets enough votes. Even a top 10 would be useful for rankings. Bear is exactly right. A short list can actually have a very big impact - whether your 10 favorites are all"chalk" or if they're Cinderella outsiders. I have 6 lists now and every one adds a new bunch of characters to the mix. The most recent list had one male character at #6 that had not appeared on any of the 5 previous lists. Tie breakers will come into effect tonight.There will likely be tie breakers not only to determine who will get into the tourney, but what the seeding will be. A tie breaker can be the difference between a very difficult first round matchup and a slightly less difficult one. These are not written in stone. Please post suggestions and comments. Thanks. These are listed in the order that they will apply. Soon as a character wins one of the tie breakers - it wins for that placement in the seedings. If there's a tie, we move down to the next tie breaker and so on till there's a decision. 1. most first place votes. That number now appears in parentheses next to the characters name.2. most lists appeared on. I will put that number in brackets - it's not there yet.3. highest non-first placement. This only comes into effect if there's a tie for 1st place votes and number of lists appearing.4.
