jagilki
"Stanek's [has] a penchant for clear and simple prose. He also prefers swift, action-oriented scenes. Solidly built. Stanek moves among his main characters with ease, always switching at a climactic moment to maintain suspense. The accessible, brisk language keeps things moving."-- Foreword Magazine

prone_to_say_stupid_things
I guess Stanek's The Dragon, the Wizard & the Great Door was only free yesterday. Damn - didn't get a chance to download it. The book description proclaims it is "A new epic fantasy adventure in the grand tradition of C. S. Lewis". This must account for the title with three nouns in it.

Brendan Moody
It's time again for Open Road Media's Cyber Monday sale, with heavy discounts on more than 4,000 ebook titles. Their site for the sale, with links on each book page to a variety of vendors where you can buy the titles, is here. SFF authors featured include Elizabeth Hand, Ian R. MacLeod, Ian McDonald, Octavia Butler, Theodore Sturgeon, and Jonathan Carroll, but obviously there's a lot more.

A Son of Blue Hills
I am in the UK, but I have seen a few deals well worth getting for cheap. As I do not own a Kindle the prices are for paperback, and hardback. They are all from Amazon, and I took advantage of them myself about a week ago, and they just arrived. First up is The Great Dune Trilogy, for £13.20 which for me is pretty reasonable at almost a thousand pages, and all three of the original books all together. At the moment it is quite expensive to get all the books separate, and will cost you almost £20 for them separately. The artwork on the cover is nice, and it feels and seems of good quality and should stand up to some wear and tear when reading on travels.http://www.amazon.co.uk/Great-Dune-Trilogy-Children-GOLLANCZ/dp/0575070706/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1387345813&sr=1-1&keywords=the+great+dune+trilogy Next is, again another treat that may be more science-fiction or post-apocalypse themed. You can get The Walking Dead Compendiums, both one and two for just £22.32 each. This is a VERY good deal, as they were once almost £50 each earlier in the year on Amazon. Now I know these are compendiums of comics, but it's still a book somewhat and well worth checking out for fans of the show, the comics and Post-Apocalypse. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Walking-Dead-Compendium-1/dp/1607060760/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1387345992&sr=1-1&keywords=the+walking+dead+compendiumshttp://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Walking-Dead-Compendium-Volume/dp/1607065967/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_y Also for fans of The Walking Dead, you can buy the stand-alone novels written by Robert Kirkman. I found that each of the three main novels set in the world, are under £5 each. That is a stutter of a deal, as at one point they were over £6 each. Now you can get them separately, or all three together as a duo for just £14.32 which is reasonable for the content and size of the books. http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Walking-Dead-Rise-Governor/dp/1250039649/ref=pd_sim_b_7http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Walking-Dead-Road-Woodbury/dp/0330541366/ref=pd_sim_b_14http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Walking-Dead-Fall-Governor/dp/0330541382/ref=pd_sim_b_6 I did buy other books, but most of them were not truly bargain deal prices so I have not put them up on this thread. These deals above, are still current and should be taken advantage of. I bought them, and they arrived a few days ago and will be giving me a lot of reading to do over the new year. Hope you guys take advantage of the deals, I am also sure that outside of the UK the prices are similar.

Brendan Moody
The three titles in Robin Hobb's Rain Wilds Chronicles are one of Kindle's Daily Deals for $1.99 each on amazon today. There are actually four books in the series. For some reason Amazon isn't listing the fourth as part of the deal, but it's $1.99 as well.

mashiara
Nope, still getting $19.59, that's the exact page I was looking at before. I was hoping you were looking at some kindle deal I couldn't find. It is so annoying, how kindle prices vary so much for each country. Almost all the deals out there don't apply to Greece... bah!
