For me Breaking Bad improves on rewatches. Do you recognize the flaws more - particularly the first two seasons? Sure. But I also appreciate the highs (no pun intended) more too. It’s up there with Sopranos and Wire for me. As others have mentioned, Mad Men would be in my S-tier. Justified should be in the A-tier objectively. It’s in my personal S-tier. I’d put BCS in the A-tier. Dexter…yeah I guess? If we’re putting GoT in there based on the first four seasons and ignoring the rest, only fair to do that with Dexter too. And the first four seasons were pretty great. One that hasn’t been mentioned that I think objectively belongs in the S-tier - West Wing. It’s got the hardware at least. And they had to do ~23 episode seasons. ETA: Oh, The Americans in the A-tier.

But, sure, academia is infested with “wokism.”

The 34 that voted against the Taiwan bill were all Republicans - and all the people you would expect to vote no on virtually anything. I encourage looking up the roll call, as these are the people that don’t even belong in student government - especially Gaetz - let alone the United States Congress.

The House just passed the Ukraine aid measure 311-112. They also passed the measure with the TikTok ban 360-58. ETA: The Taiwan measure also passed 385 to 34. All that’s left is the Israeli measure which they’re voting on now. And now the Israel measure passed 366 to 58, completing the bundling of all four.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act, children can begin working at 14 in non-agricultural jobs. I started working at 15. It’s SUPPOSED to be, however, highly regulated and limited, at least up until 16 (when you’re legally allowed to drop out of school).

This reminds me when I was in high school, I think 16, we went on a family vacation to Kiawah, SC. It was only my dad and I at the place we were staying at. I was..using the restroom, and I looked down and saw the biggest spider I’ve ever seen - still to this day. Now I’ve always been fine about killing critters. Also, Jasmine Crockett, who’s quickly becoming one of my favorite MCs (not due to this vote, tbc).

Weird thing for me is while I’m fine with heights when I’m conscious, I have a lot of dreams where I’m terrified of heights/falling one way or another. Really big critters freak me out, but I wouldn’t really call that a phobia. Like, during the Superbowl I saw about a three inch cockroach on the ceiling of my kitchen. It freaked me out, but I still grabbed a paper towel and killed it.
