They topics they've headed it under is favorite words and phrases. I just figured with a list that size, we could easily make two games out of it.

I agree I just think it will take alot of time & effort & discussions over which category a quote belongs into

Certainly there are 60 for a two part game. I was thinking that if you need to take some out you could remove expressions like "make water" and "in his cups" which aren't Martinisms.

Oh, "Stick them with the pointy end" should be in. "Fear cuts deeper than swords" as well.

I would take #48 out, on the basis that it is too long.

And "Valar morghulis" - "Valar dohaeris" could probably merged to one voting option.

About the mashing: I thought the topic was "Phrases and Quotes you use in RL"? So does it matter if they are a regular idiom on Planetos or only a sentence that one character thought once?

These are quite common and normal expressions.

• a man can have a woman or a knife, but not both at the same time

Yes & No. It is a normal word but it isn't used much.

I would agree to remove it though.

I'm sure it's me who miscounted. I tried to recount just now & make sense of what I was doing last night but I can't :lol:
