Early Theories Since Disproved

Sam travels in a group from Horn Hill, located in the Reach, to the Wall. Seeing as already two months are needed to travel from Winterfell to Kings Landing, one month from Horn Hill to the Wall by horse is very very short.

I'd say his travels took quite a bit longer.

2 months from Winterfell to KL? On foot, maybe.

Oooh, what if the North loops all the way over the top of the planet, and becomes the North of Middle Earth as well? Like if Canada and Russia were one landmass linked by the North Pole. It would explain why the dragons came from the north. Also would explain why the Witch-King, a man neither living nor dead, has his base in the north of Eriador.

Yeah, but this theory would have been rebutted by the also dated theory that Canada and Russia are connected via Sarah Palin.

They took 12 days to cross the Neck, and made the trip from the ruby fort to KL in a faster pace than before in 14 days. Compare those two distances, and the time it took, to the distance that was unaccounted for yet. Keep in mind that from Winterfell to the Barrowlands is 8 days (stated in app). And you end up on a trip of two months.

And that's not by foot ;)

The most recent crackpot theory on this is that Daenerys reaches Westeros in book 6, are you in?
