Brocktree
At this point it's almost too little too late. I'll never forgive D&D for making it Melisandre who convinces Stannis to go north when he otherwise would have just executed Davos. Just terrible characterization. D&D being what exactly? Mind blanking.
Shadow Queen Medea
Hitler was kind to dogs! You think thats funny? Not sure how it couldn't be funny after Charlie in It's Always Sunny comes across an 'original Hitler' German Shepherd painting.. http://www.ststlocations.com/Resume/Sadie/ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia/sadie_ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia_001.jpg Actually, he supposedly really did love his dog, but had his physician test a cyanide pill on it before he commited suicide himself. http://answers.wikia.com/wiki/Did_Adolf_Hitler_have_any_pets Maybe he found out it wasn't a "pure-blooded" German Shepherd? DarkSansa
Many Stannis haters such as this Arya fan page have posted up stuff like this: https://www.facebook.com/458997104125088/photos/a.459511570740308.103981.458997104125088/984239804934146/?type=1 They have even refused to acknowledge any of the good stannis scenes. There is complete silence in many of the circles that dont like Stannis. If either of Stannis's recent scenes had happened between characters like Daenerys, Bronn, Jaime. Hodor they would never stop talking about it.
Drogonthedread
i like stannis and i love dany and jon and i never had any issues of stannis portrayal in the past seasons iam thinking of certain stannis fans who were bashing D&D for the beach scene with MEL because it didnt happen in the books...what happened to them will they show same bashing towards D&D because these scenes were also not in the books apparently they are keeping quite aswell

Dronuspk
Stannis ... "hater" ? Those two words should never be in the same sentence unless it's Stannis being a hater to something else.
Liz Stark-Targaryen
Former Stannis hater. Present Stannis lover. Damn show. ;) :agree: Same here. Stannis' scenes with Shireen and Sam melted me. And I love that he respects Jon. F-- the king... and f-- this show. I'll always be #TeamKhaleesi but #TeamDragonstone, I've got a lot of respect for your favorite guy now. :cool4:
The Onion Sleight
He definitely won many hearts and respect with his great scenes this season  Just look at Unsullied threads, like NeoGAF, aso.And popular sites have very great or funny articles about him:http://www.salon.com/2015/04/26/stannis_the_mannis_baratheon_why_hes_the_best_game_of_thrones_character_and_rightful_king_of_westeros/ (<- and that was even published before 5.04, 5.05, aso.)http://www.buzzfeed.com/juliapugachevsky/for-everyone-whos-thirsty-for-stannis-from-game-of-thrones?bftw&utm_term=4ldqpfp#4ldqpfpOooh, all that hotness :drool:http://www.funnyordie.com/articles/a7a2fc396a/good-news-i-m-your-favorite-character-now/
The Eunuch
I still hate Stannis for murdering his brother like a coward, but in the same time I like him more and more since he came to the Wall. His scenes with his daughter, Jon and Sam were great! Such a complex character.

Witchy
I still hate Stannis for murdering his brother like a coward, but in the same time I like him more and more since he came to the Wall. His scenes with his daughter, Jon and Sam were great! Such a complex character. Stannis doesn't read like the hero of the story to me, but he doesn't come off as a villain either. To me, he's a Shakespearean style tragic figure like Ned. Ned's fatal flaw was insisting on honor against dishonorable foes. I think Stannis' flaw is the opposite. He is an honorable man but he's allowing Melissandre to act dishonorably in his name, as when she killed his brother and made him a kin-slayer. The show has made him more human for me and allowed me to see his character's complexity. I think D&D should get a shout out for that, as should the foxy Stephen Dillane. Hrulj
Stannis's story isnt concluded yet. While they might kill him, I dont think they will off him in this season. Or maybe even the next.
juniperstone
Its clear he is a softie for his daughter, but he won't let it show in Stannis fashion. Maybe Mellisandre is wrong, if a onion is half rotten, it doesn't make for a bad onion.
