I wouldn't be so sure.

The armor styles in WoW are one of it's most commonly mocked features. By it's playerbase more then anyone.

Keep in mind that those are 4 year old concept art pictures based on the NWN engine. The final game should look nothing like that and if you look at the recently released photos, you'll see that it does not.

Looks like IGN is keeping all the screenshots of DA on one page. So screenshot 1-5 is new, while the rest is old.

And about female armor styles, those of us who have been following the DA forums have been able to read about David Gaider's (DA's Lead Writer) heroic fight against the artists to keep the female armors showing as little skin as possible.
