Now we don't get to see Jon as a battle commander and any potential he may have had for impacting the story was nipped in the bud. Plus it robbed us of the battle of the Snows. If he had simply told her a polite lie, I already told Robert about you and Jamie, you have to pack a bag and leave this very moment because he's probably already got the Raven, it would have saved this whole mess.
