williamjm
I don't think we have settled on a date for this meet yet, can I suggest Wednesday 9 April? I guess we've decided on that date? Anyone got any suggestion for where to meet?
nyles33
http://Princess Louise - Princess Louise - fairly small - depends on the number of people - near holborn http://www.pubs.com/main_site/pub_details.php?pub_id=133 - Knights Templar - smaller rooms up stairs - near courts of justice - recommended http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g186338-d2350078-Reviews-Cittie_of_Yorke-London_England.html - Cittie of Yorke - cool looking venue for drinks - very nice wooden booths near Chancery lane http://www.thegrapes.co.uk/ - the grapes - Ian McKellans pub in Limehouse http://www.timeout.com/london/bars-pubs/booking-office Booking Office - near St. Pancras http://frenchhousesoho.com/index.html French house - soho The John Snow -39 Broadwick St.. - never been there - have to fight to get to the bar - just like the name... Here are some ideas. Let me know the general area you'd like and I'll find something If you've never been to the Globe Theatre, I recommend going to see whatever is playing. Standing on the ground is the best experience.. The actors come down into the audience..
Arch-MaesterPhilip
I'm staying five minutes from St. Pancras and Holborn is only a few stops away. I'm open to just about anything.

theMountainGoat
Unfortunately all the links in your post are messed up, they point back to this page. I do really like the Knight's Templar pub though, we've only had one meet up there before and it was a small one with just 4 people but it was a really good place to hang out. Does that work for everyone else? Feel free to agree or disagree but I think we need to make a decision by tomorrow so we can spread the word to others that might be interested in joining us. Also - AMP could you change the topic title to include the date for this meet up please? That might help get it noticed by people. palimpsest.
Depends on the time I might or might not be able to be there - I have teacher training (in Cambridge) that day from 10am to 5pm. :( So please, put me under Maybe. (I could do 10th, because I'm in town for London Book Fair anyway :) )

I think the Knight's Templar sounds good. I'll also be coming down from Cambridge, but should be able to leave work a bit earlier (unless someone inconsiderately schedules a meeting late on Wednesday afternoon, which isn't impossible) to get the 4:45 or 5:15 train down so I should probably be there about 6-6:30ish. theMountainGoat
I will try to get there for around 6.00 pm, hopefully we can claim a good table for us. Should be a few more folks able to join us, will update the list when they chime in.
