Title revealed: The Dance of Dragons (book spoilers)

I think everyone assumed that Drogon and the fighting pits would be in this episode but could the title suggest more than one dragon involved? Thoughts

i am thinking that all three dragons will come to help dany and she will mount on drogon and leave with all three of them

in episode 2 we see Darrio helping to catch a son of harpy and the SOH respond by killing the second sons in episode 4

in the episode 5 we see Dany uses draqgons against masters..i am fairly certain that a group of SOH will be sent to kill the dragons the same time when others strike dany at daznak ...

the dragons will escape the cave by killing the harpies and drogon too would have come to aid dany in daznak ..

they will fly away at the end of the episode with dany only to be seen in the season finale where it will be a scene similar to first season finale but the only difference will be dragons grown and a khalsar approaching and dany standing tall

and it will be a callback to season 4 episode one scene where she was shown losing control of her dragons and now she controls them ..it will come to be a full circle which span over two seasons

i believe that there will be no more dragon riders other than dany in the story and she is the three headed dragon and thats why i think that all three dragons will be present with her ..

i dont think jon or wall will appear in this episode ..he would have fled from hardhome in episode 8 and reach wall in episode 10 where we will get for the watch

Yeah, I agree... though best case scenario, he'd have a short scene (possibly at the beginning of the episode) to have an immediate follow-up of the debacle at Hardhome and taking care of sailing back to the Wall.

Then, out with them until episode 10.

I think Doran could reveal his pro-Targ plans this episode. I don't think Dany will fly off until the last episode so maybe we will get the wedding this episode.

Since the book ends not with Dany flying off but with her standoff with the Dothraki, maybe we will see "fly away" in 9 and dothraki cliffhanger in 10.

my theory is that Dragon (dany) has three heads (drogon,rhaegal,viserion)...so there wont be any other dragon riders in the story other than dany because she will control all her dragons ...

we have seen glimpses of dany has three headed dragon in both books and show ...

I imagine the show equivalent of Doran's Fire and Blood speech will immediately precede the scene at Daznak's Pit. I can see it going one of two ways: he'll either reveal that Trystane is actually Aegon, or that he plans to forge an alliance with Daenerys by marrying her to Trystane, which would more or less explain the exclusion of Arianne.

sadly i doubt it i think it will have some dorne and arya scenes in it ,,,more like the red wedding episode where the episode centered around the red wedding but had bran and jon and dany

it is sad because she is one of the main characters that didnt have a episode that is fully for her ..we had jon and tyrion having that in watchers on the wall and blackwater respectfully

It could have been a good idea, but the actor who's playing Trystane is too young to play Aegon (he has to look a bit older than the actors playing Jon/Robb/...). He cannot be born years after Elia was killed. I think the plan will be that he wants to marry Trystane to Daenerys.

Nice pictures and interesting theory,but I can't agree here.

Not so sure about books,because it's George after all,but in the show there will be other dragonriders(I'm 99.9% sure Tyrion will be on of them).It's a glorious opportunity to make Tyrion even more cooler and D&D will do it.Basically those three Dany,Jon and Tyrion are the three heroes of the story in the show(three most important characters...probably even most popular) and thus three dragons.GRRM did tell us that dragonrider doesn't have to be only a Targaryen.I prefer Jon not to be a dragonrider,but we'll see.

Is it just me or does the actor who plays Trystane look a bit Viserys-ish only with dark hair? Not suggesting anything but they could pass him as a Targaryen if they go that way.

"The Dance of Dragons" suggests a focus on the Targaryens, as in more than one. Which makes me think we will find out about Jon's true parentage in this episode. While Tyrion being a Targaryen is an interesting theory we have gotten no indications whatsoever of that in the series making me believe it's just wishful thinking.

Here's a wild speculation for season 6/7: Tyrion will betray/abandon Daenerys (much like his father abandoned the Mad King) once he realises she's becoming The Mad Queen.

I think the episode will have scenes in Daznak pit where Drogon will take Dany away(or maybe Viserion and Rhaegal too)

In addition, Doran Martell will reveal his plans about a Trystane-Daenerys marriage, but in my view Dany will not be willing to marry Trystane.

He is too young and not particularly handsome.

My guess would be ep.10 or more likely season 6 regarding Jon's parentage.The title itself could mean literally Drogon's arrival with Rhaegal and Viserion being released by Tyrion or someone else.

About Dany.First of all as much as some people would love that,she ain't gonna become The Mad Queen and second point.Yeah,I could see Tyrion's betrayal on the cards,not because of what you said,but because of his love for his brother.Even with Jaime's:I'll chop his head off bla bla bla.

Everyone is really excited about the fighting pit scene with Drogon, but I don't see what is going to be the big deal. Is there something I'm missing? Shouldn't be much of a fight with a dragon vs a bunch of dudes.
