  1. Yup, Gary Oldman is incredible as Lamb. And it's a very faithful adaptation so far.
  2. Yeah, this kinda extra episode of Staged is so hilarious. Tennant and Sheen’s chemistry deserves all the praise it gets.
  3. Ebon Moss-Bachrach is also Richard in The Bear and he is fantastic there.
  4. Put(a)in says he prefers Biden as POTUS vs. Trump Yeah, right.
  5. Started Mr & Mrs Smith and after three episodes I like it. Is it supposed to be a miniseries or has a potential for more seasons?
  6. So, does that mean that Vanessa, Dopinder and the rest of the original cast only appear briefly in the prologue? That would make sense probably, but I'd be disappointed. Trailer is ok...ish, but I still have high hopes for this movie.
  7. Watched Holdovers and loved it. Alexander Payne and Paul Giamatti are just meant for each other. But the kid was great too, as was the actress playing Mary. Great little movie.
  8. As much as I agree Serena is probably a GOAT, or at least a close contender, I also agree there is no point talking about Big Three AND Serena, because the whole point of the Big Three is the rivalry between them, and there wasn't and couldn't be any rivalry between them and her, simple as that.
  9. I'm pretty sure it's the former. It runs in the family.
  10. @baxus Isn't she like 4 or something? I'd think it's a bit too early. 7 or 8 would be more appropriate. I finally got around to start reading Cormoran Strike series by J.K. Rowling. Finished the first installment and halfway through the second. So far, so good. The second seems better than the first, so it's probably a good sign.
  11. It’s not the greatest final, both semi-finals were better, but entertaining nonetheless. A lot indicates Medvedev will get the same treatment here he presented Zverev in the previous round. But he will not give up no matter what, that’s for sure.
  12. And he made it, he won the match he should have lost. First time I've seen a drop shot winner return on quite a powerful serve. Both semi-finals delivered. Lots of quality, lots of emotions. Surprisingly, least of it came from Djokovic.
  13. Medvedev just refuses to give up, and he looked like he hadn't much fuel left in the tank hours ago.
  14. Hell yeah! The kid did it! And I was almost sure after he lost this third set, not being able to utilize a matchpoint, that he'd lose in five.
  15. Yeah, Djokovic-Sinner should be a memorable match. I do think (or perhaps hope) Sinner has a chance to win, he already managed that on a shorter distance (and longer distance in theory should even benefit him, as he's much younger and fitter, but of course we all know it doesn't in the slightest), but it will be his maiden grand slam semi-final, so he will probably just learn his lesson. Second semi-final will also be interesting. If Zverev can maintain the level he played against Alcaraz, it would make him a natural favourite, but Medvedev is a player who simply refuses to give up no matter what, so it can go either way.
  16. So it's the most obvious Sabalenka - Zheng final after all. I don't think Zheng has a chance to score more than few games, but that would be a pleasant surprise.
  17. This is very true, past performances of the tournament don't mean shit with Djokovic. Where he excels virtually everyone else, is playing best the most important matches, and most important moments in those matches. Nevertheless, if any of the other three has the chance to beat him, my money is on Sinner, even knowing perfectly well it's Medvedev who actually did beat him once already in the most important match, and decisively at that. But I feel this time Djokovic would simply tire him out physically, even HuHu was close to achieving that. On the other hand, it will be Sinner's first grand slam semi-final, and experience matters. So I don't know, perhaps Zverev after all? He really was relentless against Carlitos.
  18. I second those preferences. Or maybe I would rather see Yastremska in the final instead of Zheng. But the other three all the way.
  19. And he didn't make it after all. I didn't see it coming before the match, that's for sure. Alcaraz wasn't entirely himself today, especially in the first two sets, but it was mostly Zverev playing fantastic tennis start to finnish, with the slight exception of late third set, when he got broken and then lost the tie-break.
  20. He only played 10 five setters in his entire career. Not sure if in any of these he trailed 0-2.
  21. What a change in the last possible moment. If he can pull it off, it would be an incredible come back.
