I agree. But as I mentioned yesterday, if Putin is still in charge at that point, would he allow the war to be over? I can’t see him admitting defeat, so Ukraine may be stuck with a war on their borders that they have to play defensively.

Perhaps. But the war would still be ongoing, with Ukraine unable to push into Russia because of the reasons previously stated, but Putin still attacking because he could never admit the loss.

Let's say Ukraine's next offensive goes perfectly, and all Russian troops are driven out of Ukraine (excepting Crimea). Would the war be over? Why would Putin call it quits at this point? Wouldn't he just build up his forces at the border again and launch another attack? How can Ukraine force an ending? It seems the war won't end until Putin is no longer in a position of power.

Since video games were mentioned, I will always cherish my PS 1 copy of Final Fantasy Tactics. (Though I have to bring out the PS3 to play it)

Digital is convenient. Forced connection to the internet is a problem. I can "own" a dozen games. But if my internet connection isn't working, I can't play them. (Looking at you my Play Station Plus free games).

The most recent season dropped on HBO Max today. I can finally watch.

Nope. I have an amazing game going right now, but for a long time I was left with a lot of anomalies and archaeological sites within my borders because my two scientists were needed for exploring. Edit: I do like that you can pick a trait when leaders level up though.

New Stellaris DLC! And all old games have been deleted. Edit: Wow. 10 seconds in and this is a major revamp of the leader system.

I really want to watch WWII in Colour. (Weird Island People spelling) It was taken off Netflix and I don't own it. Is it streaming somewhere I don't know about? Because if I had the DVD's I could watch it right now.

Meh. They are the same thing. I've never been able to tell the difference. But I still own both despite streaming. Yesterday I felt like watching Birdman. I spent 10 minutes looking for it through my disc collection (it's somewhere) then finally pulled out my phone, googled "Birdman Streaming" found out it's currently on HBO Max, then watched it. But I still don't regret having it somewhere in the unwieldy collection of discs of movies I like. I think it's nice owning the movies you want to watch in physical form, without worrying about the whims of the internet. Does anyone else still spend $10 - $25 a pop to own the movies you really enjoy?
