shmoove
http://www.georgerrmartin.com/excerpt-from-the-winds-of-winter/ Umm wow! So much happened! Bran sees her; She took a deep breath to quiet the howling in her heart, trying to remember more of what she'd dreamt, but most of it had gone already. There had been blood in it, though, and a full moon overhead, and a tree that watched her as she ran. She crosses off another name with Raff the Sweetling. Go Arya! This chapter is one of the most chilling ive read of Arya's. Right?! LOL tho s2g I've read fanfic with an eerily similar premise involving a play that revolves around a not so subtle nod to recent Westrosi history... OT: is that Floki in your avi? If so <
sertravisredbeard
I'm reading this right now. Does anyone else get the feeling from the rapidly increasing number of excerpts GRRM is putting out indicative that Winds might show up sooner than we thought? the conquoring bastard25
Why did Tywin go to Lys? That's important while he was still hand to Aerys! Does this mean that Cersi won her trial? What about the Little Queen? Who was the envoy? The one with the Rooster on his doublet.

What about the Little Queen? Who was the envoy? The one with the Rooster on his doublet.Maybe Aerys sent Tywin to recruit Varys. Perhaps this guard will give us more backstory into Varys. Edit: If this guard was crossing oceans with Tywin 20 some odd years ago maybe there is more he can tell us about Tywin. Perhaps this guard was on duty when Tywin has his passageway to the whorehouse in Kings Landing built?
Team_Rob
Isn't the Rooster the sigil of the Swifts. Ser Kevan told him he'd have to go to Bravos in the Epilogue of ADWD.

Tony Stark of Winterfell
Arya's stint with the FM isn't gonna end well. While pretty obvious in DwD, this chapter only reinforces that notion.at the end of the chapter it sounded like she was getting ready to leave the FM. She says"“Mercy, Mercy, Mercy,” she sang sadly. A foolish, giddy girl she’d been, but good hearted. She would miss her, and she would miss Daena and the Snapper and the rest, even Izembaro and Bobono.""She would think about that later, though. Just now, there was no time. I had best run Mercy still had some lines to say, her first lines and her last, and Izembaro would have her pretty little empty head if she were late for her own rape."Where will she run, Pentos? Meereen? The better question is can she escape the FM.And there was something very interesting about her wolf dream. she says that she ran past pines, and a tree watched her as she ran(weirwood). I think this means that the pack has somehow reached the north. As far as I remember the only place in the south with weirwoods was the God's eye, and I doubt the pack swam across just to relax on an island. If so, then i think the wolf pack could play a vital role in the battle of the ice with Stannis.
