Morgan was our very first introduction to humanity once Rick woke up in a zombie apocalypse. T-Dog was used to introduce the very racism that is being discussed now, with his Merle interactions early on, and his feverish paranoia later. Tyrese was the standout good guy throughout his arc. The show runners actually changed his character for this. And Bob was my favorite character. He had more nuance to him than all other characters combined. Let's not forget, that for every factual statement of racial statistics in urban areas like Atlanta, this is a story about one group of survivors, trying to get TO the city. Not from it.
