Sithis
The topic pretty much sums it up. When TWOW is finally released, how long do you think it will take you to finish it. Because let's face it, we are all going to binge read the crap out of it. Alternatively, how long did it take you to finish the previous books when they were first released? Florina Laufeyson
Probably 3 days. Dont bother calling me.
Visenya Stark
Probably 3 days for me as well. There is a likely chance that I'll finish it earlier if I don't have any homework (depending on the time of year TWOW comes out).
Sithis
It's hard for me to say now. I could see 2-3 days if I'm not busy but I'm probably going to be in my first year of medical school so I'm not sure that I will have a lot of down time to read. Possible: 2-3 daysLikely: 1 weekMax: 2 weeks
Lord Lyman
A week maybe. Depends on the quality of the book and what else is going on in my life.
Nozlym
ill take vacation time and just read it and read it and come here to see what ppl have found and read that
Dejat
It took me 2-4 weeks for the previous books, but I if am free may be a week would be enough for this book due to the excitement.
Ser Greg of House House
It depends on the day of the week it's released (is there a rule for that?). If it's a weekend, I'll take some modafinil, start reading, and I'll only stop when it's over. Probably two days.
Magnar of Skagos
3 days? Holy crap. I could never dream of reading that fast. All of the ASOIAF books took me about a month to read, except ASOS which took only a week because I couldn't put it down. I wasn't on the forums when I was reading them, but now that I am, and have been reading all of these theories and speculation, I predict I will binge-read it like crazy. Some people will no doubt have it finished the same night its released and beginning talking about it on the forums, so I'll have to read it quickly to avoid spoilers. Sithis
I'm going to avoid this forum until I'm finished, then I'll check it out for different theories and what not. I'm already dreading the wait for ADOS because TWOW is going to be pretty epic and leave us hanging.
Good Guy Garlan
I'd try my best to read it slowly and make it last, but I said the same thing about the Deathly Hallows and I finished it in like a day and a half
Pod The Rod
I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in 13 hours. Winds will be thicker and more involved. I'll say 2 days. Then a full week for the reread.
Sithis
I didn't get into the series until after ADWD was released. Are they available at midnight on the release date?

The wait for this one is killing us, i don't even want to think about what it will be like for ADOS :stunned: I'd try my best to read it slowly and make it last, but I said the same thing about the Deathly Hallows and I finished it in like a day and a half Me too. We've been waiting for years, I want to savour it, cause it'll be years until the next one.
Nictarion
I took my time with the last 5 (3-4 weeks), but I'm thinking about taking a week off of work to read TWoW as much as I can. So probably about a week.

Are they available at midnight on the release date? They should, they did it with the HP ones, and I had to endure stupid magicians asking super hard questions only a hardcore fan would know, like what was the name of Harry Potter's owl
Warrewal Halfaxe
It really depends when it comes out. I might be able to do 2-3 days of intense reading, and I've been toying with the idea of 1 day non-stop reading extravaganza. I dont think I would be able to manage a break like that though.
