Arch-MaesterPhilip
I'm sure everyone has heard at this point that Jose Reyes was booked for assaulting his wife in Maui. Do you think they are going to make an example of him as they should or shit the bed like the NFL?
Guest
Lance Lynne for St. Louis is getting Tommy John. Lackey is a free agent. Rumors St. Louis will go after Price or Greinke. Would love to get either. It sounds like St. Louis is also about to ink a more lucrative new TV deal and spend accordingly. Reports are that they intend to do so in the Classiest of ways. New TV deal or no, I can't see the Cardinals coughing up the kind of dough it would take to land Zack if the Dodgers are committed to re-signing him. Arch-MaesterPhilip
Brian Cashman made a few deals in the last couple days Jose Pirela to the Padres for a relief pitcher whose name escapes me and John Ryan Murphy to the Twins for Aaron Hicks. Ramsay B.
Kimbrel to Red Sox for 4 prospects. I heard Yanks were really interested in him but Boston pulled the trigger...assholes. ETA: 2 of the prospects were top 50(in some rankings). Seems a little steep, but he is a stud.

Tyrion Lannister
I think he deserved it. I think an argument could've been made for Matheny after winning 100 games with all of those injuries, but Maddon is deserving as well.

Jaxom 1974
Any manager who wins 100 games has to be in the conversation. Absolutely. The one way to keep a manager like that from winning it would be the other guy who wins 97 games starting 4 rookies regularly. That and the 100 win manager is Mike Matheny. Screw that guy. Tyrion Lannister
Meh, I think it should've been Greinke, but Arietta was so phenomenal too that I can't bring myself to protest much.

Both very deserving.
Bonesy
An argument could be made for either Greinke or Kershaw and maybe that's what screwed them by splitting the vote.In any case I don't think anyone can be upset about the result. I feel like if they could have awarded 2 or 3 Cy Young's at a time, they would have.
Manhole Eunuchsbane
Looks like the Giants are coming hard at Greinke. Brace yourselves Dodger's fans.
