cila
Has there been any indication as to when Sub Press will be releasing their versions of Game/Clash?
Justinian
Not as far as I know. Even then all it will mean is that for a true complete set you need all the sub press plus the MM ones. It's not as if all the slipcases or book covers will match after all.
coreywt
But these auctions might make a partial set even more broken up, if the same buyer doesn't get both: Storm and Feast. Now a different seller has listed the matching #215 of Clash. I don't think Clash of Kings numbered has ever sold for close to that, but the way the other auctions are going... scoogs
Smart move on the part of that seller. A PC copy sold for $300 on 4/11.
eRome
Auctions were pulled on eBay. Seller says he's going to re-list with matching ADWD. Shame, the prices kept climbing...
evogeler
For those pining away for a stand-alone SOS, here's your shot (and no, it's not my sale). This is probably the hardest solo limited to find. Good luck! http://www.ebay.com/...=item2ec7e6c51c
The_Wolfbrother
And I got the MM aGoT matching that SoS. Tempted, but it will go for to much right now (or so I should think after the development of that other action). In general, it popped up quite a lot of hard-to-find subpress books the last 24-ish hours. Gardens of the Moon, Lies of Locke Lamora, and a cheap Lettered Furies of Calderon. Also 2 MM Clash of Kings Harr, I will watch with interest.
eRome
The only reason that MM ACoK is up at that price was because the matching number ASOS and AFFC were up at the same time. I don't think a MM ACoK has ever sold for that much... The seller is great though. I picked up a signed first edition of the beautiful blue UK Harper Voyager AGoT a year ago. It shipped from the UK (I'm in the US) and I was so worried about damage. The thing was packed like a tank! An amazing copy. The blue editions looks great on the shelf and really are the only matching set out there. The eBay listing for the matching ASOS and AFFC will be back up at some point. The seller didn't want to break the set; someone bid over $1500 for AFFC but wasn't interested in ASOS. He has the matching ADWD on the way to him, and rights to future volumes. He'll re-list all together.
Marakh
Daaamn I want that ASOS so bad but I'm broke and that's an understatement. I even want Gardens of the Moon too.
Justinian
The Subterranean editions of Erikson are very nice. As are their Abercrombies. I don't have the Scott Lynch volumes.
cila
Yeah, their First Law editions are beautiful, I think. Got a matching set from eBay not too long ago.
ig88b
For reference, A Storm of Swords #30 was briefly on Abebooks listed for $1000 and is now gone. On a related note, if anyone has or has any info on A Storm of Swords #404, I'm still looking.
scoogs
The notice that I received said it was ACoK, not ASoS.
coreywt
The notice that I received said it was ACoK, not ASoS. It was definitely for Storm of Swords #30 as my want list email from Abebooks said: http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=10150773721&cm_ven=nl&cm_cat=trg&cm_pla=want&cm_ite=viewbook
scoogs
Looks like they listed both. ACoK #30 is still an active listing. $1000 for that one is way too much. http://www.abebooks....cm_ite=viewbook
