Which Tyler
Not even a hint of a fightback I'm 2nd set. I've never seen Novak look so... disinterested. Don't blame him for taking a time out here, really needs to disrupt Rogers rhythm any way he can. Will he have his brain back on the match? Or can this phase push into the 3rd set? Gronzag
This isn't fun. I want Djokovic at his best.

Jeor
Key third set. You'd have to expect Djokovic would have the better of any five setter.
Which Tyler
Novak's getting stroppy. Will he harness it or will it get the better of him? (Usually the former)
Which Tyler
Those bloody unforced errors from Roger. control those and he wins this. He's failing to control them
Jeor
Ouch losing two sets in breakers has got to hurt. I don't see Roger getting this.
Which Tyler
And the 5th is as good as confirmed, as Roger tightens up the unforced errors (they really are the story of today). As for the constant conversation of how unhappy Novak is about not being as liked, they're showing exactly why right now. When Roger gets the better of Novak, Novak gets stroppy; almost like he thinks winning (and popularity) is owed to him (I'm sure he doesn't, but it comes across that way). When Novak gets the better of Roger (even more so when Rafa gets the better of Roger), you can see him kicking his lips and working out what to do. He visibly loves it. One of those makes you popular, the other makes you unpopular. Rafa is much closer to Roger in this in that role his sleeveless up and goes harder, enjoying the challenge. Which Tyler
Break 'just' needs to hold. For those watching the cricket, that's Roger up 8:7 in the fifth, serving for the match

Which Tyler
And we're into our first championship deciding tie breaker (I don't like it) Novak definitely goes in as favourite
Heartofice
Wow! Well done Novak! What a marathon of a match. That championship point Roger had seemed so long ago
Free Northman Reborn
Stick that one to the crowd and most of the media. Well done Novak. Man alone against them all.
ljkeane
He’s won against a basically 38 year old opponent on the back of 3 tie breakers.
Heartofice
There is probably a good reason Federer is generally more popular. But oh well, it was a long old match.

Free Northman Reborn
To be truthful, Federer is amazing. I don’t believe either Djokovic or Nadal will be as competitive at age 37. Maybe he is the greatest ever.
