OldBen
Ahh yes. He killed an illusion of Zed during his huge chat with Ayn Rand...er...the witch gurl that was with samuel. (Already forgetting names. I'm lacking in moral celery.) Well that and he killed Denna too who turned out to be a nice woman that endured alot of physical and psychological abuse. The thing I don't get is when Darken Rahl said to kill her in order to be free of the palace Richard barely hesistated. He never thought "Gee my old man is right here! I could at least try to run him through!" or "Perhaps I can use my charisma and lineage to turn the D'haran troops against my dad!" Nope. He just slew a woman he had come to love with the sweet power of homicidal forgiveness. Now boyz THAT is a hero we can all look up to! PS: Yes this is covered in my sig too. Sorry it was one of the first things in the book that jumped out and made me think "wtf??"
Myshkin
You must have missed the speech about banning fire, which occurred considerable earlier.

There was also the uneasy revelation how Darken Rahl is a vegetarian...except in dark rituals where he cannibalizes little boys and grinds them into a fine paste. Poor Carl. That boy just had shit for luck. How long do you think before Richard starts doing the same in the name of moral celery?
OldBen
Poor Carl indeed. That boy just had shit for luck. How long do you think before Richard starts doing the same in the name of moral celery? In many cases insanity is hereditary. Ahem. Er Moral Celery is hereditary. I really like Rachel. I hope she is far away from Richard when he starts eating child paste. I'm sure Darken Rahl's obcession started with children by kicking their jaws that eventually led up to eating them. As you can see from this circular logic Richard is getting close! Mme Erzulie
Cleomedes, you need to equip yourself with a Goodkind signature. See General Chatter. And welcome to the board.
The Wolf Maid
Sadly wolf maiden I tried to Get my wizard's first tool put into the "high erotica" genre as it redefines sexual satisfaction but those EVIL publishers said slong of truth is more along the lines of cheap porn. I'm already getting my Morde'suki ninja girls to bring me the ears and slongs of every person that consider my books pointless smut! Tsk. They obviously lack moral celery. A kick in the jaw would make them see the error of their ways. Or maybe a whip and a barbed cock? Just an observation: Why the hell are we putting up disclaimers on posts? This is the Goodkind board, for crying out loud.

OldBen
Someone with a limited sense of humor complained about something. Wert could have just acted "responsible" for even more shits n giggles. Guess he got a mob of whining sot O'ist on his back so he had to at least flash the Mod hat quickly. Have you read the disclaimers? They're hillarous. I've already contributed with my disclaimer that tells proper and improper uses of the word slut. It is highly educational! Haven't gotten around to my "Be careful spam could be the child paste of Carl" disclaimer though. Eat spam and other meat products responsibly especially when visiting D'hara! Yes Wolf Maiden. Barbed cocks, whips, and jaw breaking are the only ways to teach Moral celery! I'm sorry it has to be that way, really I am but at least it is for truth, justice, freedom, and the Tairy way! No one should in reality ever go to a TG forum under any circumstances) You can use my brilliant olive of peace. Even though omlets of peace tastes better. mmmm eggs! Anybody is brave if they want to debate there. Don't misunderstand me, good people exist even on the sot boards but as they exist so too do the mindless cronies . Wade into the shark pond at your own risk peeps. Edited to not single out key individuals on the sot site.

Myshkin
It came to me in a dream..... It's all so clear to me now, my noble goats. The light has been turned on in the black hole of my brain. We've been duped!! That's right, duped. We've been led to believe that Lord Dick is the paragon of all that is good and right, but many of us wonder how this can be so in light of all his deplorable actions. Never fear. The plotting prowess of the great Tairy will shine through in the end. I've just figured it out. This is a story that is meant to show how Lord Dick can become an evil dictator just like his daddy even when he's doing it all in the name of moral celery. This is a fable about how power corrupts. The Great Yearded One is just waiting to drop this bomb on us!!! All hail the genius that is Tairy!!!

Rhysdux
Out of curiosity, why did we start calling him Tairy instead of Terry? I must have missed that thread. Clearly, I lack moral celery.

After the final book comes out he'll reveal himself for what he truly is: A Catholic communist who was sent by the Church and the Party to show us the true light of freedom. OldBen
I already argued alot with sot-holics many months ago. Circular arguments= going nowhere! A few admitted they saw my points most thought I lacked moral celery. I tried logging in recently but I've been inactive so long my name expired. Or I was banned and just never realized it. I wonder how many Tairy nuts realize how much they discredit his work and discourage other people from remotely enjoying the series? Then again Objectivism itself can make a rational mind freeze and stop reading the books too. If GoodKind didn't have a site, didn't say such outlandish things in his interviews, and didn't allow his uppity fanbase to gallavant around like self proclaimed royalty on laurels he'd have alot more respectability. There are decent sot fans that are polite and open minded by I rather not wade through the urine and poop just to reach that small oasis of reason and sanity!
