arrowfan
I like Berman for NFL re-cap. But, yea, for play-by-play, the dead air and energy level.... yikes.
Littlefingers In The Air
That is in no way conclusive. Could be the right call but it's way too close to change it.
trickster
Hmm, AFC West might not be a weak division. I still expect the Broncos to win it handily. But yesterday, KC looked OK. Raiders showed some life and now SD looking decent. On the other a bad Houston team is good news for the Colts.
Kalbear
Kc is likely to be dangerous. Not good, but dangerous.
Jabronius Maximus
You have a coach who can coach, and a QB who can run an offense pretty well. Not sure about the defense, but it obviously held up when it should have against Jacksonville. So yeah, they are dangerous. I believe they also have a somewhat softer schedule, which could result in a good record.
Bronn Stone
I withhold judgment on KC until I see them against an NFL team. Jacksonville is going to be epically bad. Possibly 2008 Lions bad.

trickster
I know this is early, but if SD scores on this drive, the Texans are toast. And just as I write this, Rivers of old throws one of his patented jump balls to a freakishly big receiver. Littlefingers In The Air
Wow. They're almost looking like their 2007 selves.
Jaime L
Chargers looking surprisingly frisky. I though Houston's D would be greatly improved by getting guys back from injury and not being completely dependent on Watt. But it's Phillip Rivers looking rejuvenated. He must've seen that Grantland Amazon ad.ETA: Phillip Rivers' manic celebrations make him seem like an 80's drug villain after snorting a line of coke. trickster
And the Texans are toast. Superchargers are back!! Or may be not, could be a bad Texan team.
Jabronius Maximus
Don't jinx it man! Rivers is well on his way to challenging Peyton's outing...
trickster
Is JJ Watt playing? Seems like he has not been a factor at all.
Jabronius Maximus
I still think Chargers will have an epic meltdown. I'm not getting my hopes up for the win just yet. But this looks like the 2007 Rivers.
trickster
I thought this would be a one sided game, but like everybody thought it would the Texans winning quite easily. Ha! We are who we are!
Jaime L
Don't jinx it man! Rivers is well on his way to challenging Peyton's outing...True although he seems to be enjoying his TDs way more than Peyton did. He's starting to remind me a little of this guy. trickster
Rivers always has been a little too intense, like he just stepped out of the Topgun.
Bronn Stone
The thing is - I don't feel like I am seeing Philip Rivers throwing any harder or farther or straighter than last year. He's just being smarter. He knows he doesn't have a rocket arm. He's not trying to make passes he can't make any more.

I want to see a close game.
