RumHam Posted March 31, 2014 Share Posted March 31, 2014 I was disappointed in both at first, but not because they're bad books. My expectations were pretty high. Feast was disappointing because it didn't focus much on characters I like and it's not immediately clear how interesting and important the Dornish plot will become. mb2518 Posted March 31, 2014 Share Posted March 31, 2014 AFFC had a ton of good stuff in it. Cersei's idiocy unchecked was a real LOL. All of Jaime's chapters were excellent. Highlights include: Arya as an executioner, the prologue, Doran handing Arianne the black onyx piece, and Cersei's arrest. ADWD: Never thought you would feel sorry for Theon Greyjoy after ACOK did you? Best moments of ADWD include: Nearly anything with Theon, Aegon's reveal, Bran looking through time as a tree, Stannis taking Deepwood Motte, Jon's stabbing, and the epilogue.
