Next POV character to die?

Victarion or Barristan are the most likely options for first POV deaths - the battles take place at the beginning of the book, after all. I feel like Barristan's death is more likely... but Victarion feels more expendable to me - Euron is the real threat there.

GRRM has mentioned POV characters converging as a reason he can kill them, which makes Melisandre, Jon Snow, Brienne, Jaime, Asha, Theon, Victarion, Barristan, Tyrion, Arianne and Jon Connington all currently vulnerable. Of course, we can rule some of those out - Jon Snow and Tyrion are primary protagonists so should be safe until ADoS; Jon Connington most likely won't die until after Aegon has failed and/or been revealed as a fraud, and I don't think that's likely till at least the end of TWoW; Asha and Theon are vulnerable, but only if the kingsmoot plot never gets wrapped up.

Jaime and Brienne are perhaps in the weakest position - both are certain to die relatively soon IMO, it just depends who dies first. At the moment, I'm leaning towards Brienne, with Jaime dying after he kills Cersei. I think, based on how much TWoW has to cover, Jaime and Cersei might make it till ADoS, but they're certainly on their way out. There's just no way they could possibly survive two separate Targaryen invasions, in addition to all their other enemies.

Jon Con is just getting started in Westeros. I look forward to more Rhaegar stories, as well. His Greyscale is progressing slowly enough, too. I think he'll die protecting Aegon before he dies from Greyscale

With Arianne on her way to Storms End Jon Con isn't necessary for us to be with Aegon.

I hope I'm wrong though. I'd rather see Areo Hotah go. He's our only POV in Dorne now though.

I know Meereen is likely to have a POV die. With Tyrion, Victarion, and Barristan all there one of them is probably screwed. I know Tyrion's safe, but I don't want to lose Vic or Barry eeither.

I'd much rather lose Brienne than Jaime. And I think he'll make it do to unfinished business with Cersei.

I agree. His story is just starting. The fact he's in Storms' End with Aegon now doesn't mean he's going to stay there forever. Who could have thought that Sam would be returning to the Reach and leaving the Wall? Yet, he did. Just because Arianne and Jon Con are converging in the same place doesn't mean they will stay there for the rest of the books. Arianne could very well return to Dorne as well. And even if she actually stays there, is Jon going to drop dead? Yeah, because he was introduced in book 3 and 4 and appeared finally in book 5 only to simply die because of a disease (that works slowly, btw) in book 6.

It's practically a given that Howland will appear to reveal RLJ. While he might have known a lot about Lyanna and was a witness of whatever happened after the Battle at the ToJ, he doesn't know Rhaegar. Jon will have to find out about his father as well as about his mother. Who else is left to tell Jon about Rhaegar? I'm quite possitive that the Jons will have to eventually meet, and that won't happen in this book.
