JonSnowed
Last year someone maintained a single page overview of all casting and season information, as nobody has done this so far I am willing to give it a go but would appreciate if everyone can help in case I have missed anything/placed incorrect information. It will clearly be a work in progress and I will always try to reference sources of information. Returning Cast from Season 5 Emilia Clarke (Danerys Stormborn) Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy/Reek) Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) Iwan Rheys (Ramsay Bolton) John Bradley-West (Samwell Tarly) Hannah Murray (Gilly) Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) Faye Marsay (The Waif) Carice Van Houten (Melisandre) Deobia Oparei (Areo Hotah) Nikolai Waldau-Costau (Jamie Lannister) (Bronn) Gwendoline Christie (Brienne) Jonathan Pryce (High Sparrow) Eugene Simon (Lancel Lannister) Dean Charles-Chapman (Tommen) Natalie Dormer (Margery Tyrell) (Llorys Tyrell) Returning cast from earlier Seasons Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran Stark) Art Parkinson (Rickon Stark) Kristian Nain (Hodor) (Catelyn Stark / Lady Stoneheart rumoured) Natalia Tena (Osha) Rory McCann (The Hound) David Bradley (Walder Frey) New Casting Pilou Asbæk (Euron Greyjoy) Sir Arthur Deyne/Legendary Swordsman Septon Meribeld Max Von Sydow (Bloodraven) Randyll Tarly Freddie Stroma (Dickon Tarly) Richard E Grant (unknown) Ian McShane (unknown but will be in Riverlands area). Plotline leaks - Tower of Joy flashback confirmed (various sources) - Young Ned flashback confirmed (various sources) - Hodor/Stark family flashback (Watchers on the Wall) - R+L = J confirmed (irish thrones) - Ironborn story confirmed and will include, Balon's death Theon back home as well as the kingsmoot (various sources) - Huge White Walker battle (Hollywood Reporter) - Lady Stoneheart (Irish thrones) - Arya will fight the Waif and return to the Riverlands (Watchers on the Wall) - Jamie and Bronn will visit the Riverlands (Watchers on the Wall) - Jamie will free Margery from the Faith, who will let her leave with no violence. This will happen either episode 5 or 6 (Winter is coming / Los Siete Reinos) - Episode 9 will feature a major battle featuring the Boltons, Umbers, Wildlings and Jon. - Brienne will be in a heavy fighting sequence (possibly the battle mentioned above) for which she filmed three days. (watchers on the wall) - There will be a Tarly family meal scene some around the mid-season (Watchers on the Wall) - Season 6 will open with Jon Snow bleeding/dead on the floor. Joseph Nobles
Returning cast from earlier Seasons (Catelyn Stark / Lady Stoneheart) Where has this information been confirmed at all? Also, there's Ian McShane's casting in an unconfirmed role (but it's Randyll Tarly), and Max von Sydow as the recast Bloodraven.
RenlyTheOneTrueKing
http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Season_6 Just use this! Got confirmed information only. Also has sources for all of it
Rider on the Storm
I fear there will be no Lady Stoneheart...so who knows what the f*** Brienne is gonna do now. But still, I have a good feeling about this season, there are good chances that is gonna be much better than season 5, the Greyjoys plotline can still be something epic ... even though book readers are not gonna be 100% okay with GoT anymore for all the irremediable changes D&D have made. dielsis
Is it bad when I saw this that my first thought was they'll turn Sansa into a salt wife? haha Instead of R'hllor bringing back a dead Catelyn, the show will have the Drowned God converting an alive Sansa. Rider on the Storm
So okay, I'm so happy to hear that Jaime's plot line is going back on the rails and that we got Euron and Aeron, but what in the seven hells is Theon doing on the Iron Islands? queen of meraxes
Probably Theon will be the antagonist for Euron with the help of Asha/Yara. Arya will meet with Jaime and we can watch hanged Freys by "Noone"
Swamp Dweller
Probably Theon will be the antagonist for Euron with the help of Asha/Yara. Arya will meet with Jaime and we can watch hanged Freys by "Noone" :agree: Yes, this! I think this would make sense and would streamline the show by using existing characters instead of introducing new ones (LSH, Victarion) which the the show likes to do. Whether this is a good decision and if they can successfully pull off these glaring changes in a way that makes sense to the narrative and is consistent with character arcs is the real question. alienarea
My question is, if Theon is on the Iron Islands, then where's Sansa? Well, since Melisandre burned Shireen to melt the snow only one of Theon / Sansa could survive the jump - the one who landed on top of the other (no pun). kissdbyfire
Alas, Rory McCaan is NOT yet confirmed. But I hold high hopes that he will be! There's some new on that here: You ready for it? Okay. I’ve heard from a source whom I trust, who has provided us reliable information going back several years, that Rory McCann was seen recently staying at a hotel in Belfast commonly used by HBO and Game of Thrones cast members during filming. Currently, McCann has no other projects scheduled, or any other reason to be in Belfast that we’re aware of. Book readers have their theories as to how the Hound- or rather, Sandor Clegane might return. But it wouldn’t be the first time Game of Thrones has diverged from the original story if they choose a different version for the return of Sandor Clegane. Also, there's Ian McShane's casting in an unconfirmed role (but it's Randyll Tarly), and Max von Sydow as the recast Bloodraven. No, McShane will not be playing Tarly and I would bet $10,000 on that. If he was playing Tarly HBO would have announced it, but they haven't. They have announced Bloodraven, Euron, Dickon, and some minor ones, but if McShane was Tarly they would have announced it. McShane is most likely playing Septon Meribald, with an outside chance of the Elder Brother or Marwyn(this is highly unlikely)

Those just don't line up. I agree with your predictions for Meribald, EB or Marwyn.

VeturKemur
Well, since Melisandre burned Shireen to melt the snow only one of Theon / Sansa could survive the jump - the one who landed on top of the other (no pun). She only melted the snow that was in the way of them getting there. The place they jumped was clearly still full of snow.
