katb93
So I read/watched an interview Maisie gave at the London Film Critics Awards. This is what she said. "I feel so mean because I speak to people and they’re all like, ‘Jon Snow, is he back?’ And it’s like really heartbreaking because people are like, ‘yeah, but he’s coming back though?,'” Williams said. “It’s a great twist but I can’t say he’s going to be alive.” It got me thinking about what she could mean. If he is resurrected would this mean he is more un-dead than alive? Thoughts?
Lord Friendzone
You have keep in mind that many people are only show watchers, and never read the books...and don't want to be spoiled on the internet. Jon will more likely lose something from himself, but undead no.

It's basically been spoiled by every cast member and we have pictures of Kit Harrington on set.
Charlie Hustle
Its been spoiled for a while then.. Hasnt he been signed through this and next season?
rebelgb
Kit is seen filming the MAJOR battle often called the "Battle of The Bastards" for Episode 9. Further he is in full armor. So yeah Jon is still alive.
SevasTra82
The speculation now is more of *how* he is alive rather then *if* he's alive. It's possible he never died to began with. People are jumping to that conclusion what nobody truly knows if he actually *died* or not. People can (and have) survived multiple stab wounds...especially in a cold place where the cold helps slow down blood flow.
Lordsteve666
The most obvious answer I think is that Jon SNOW in dead, but that he is resurrected as Jon STARK. I assume once you die you're free of your vows so he can take up the original offer from Stannis (assuming it's still available of course). So a reborn Jon can go and fight his family's fight and retake Winterfell from those scumbag Boltons. That could be where the Ep. 9 title comes from. The Arthur Smith
You know, the more actors/actresses addressing their statement on whether Jon is dead or alive just makes it more obvious that he will come back, even to show watchers this sound too obvious... Knute
I think pretty much everyone believes that he will be reborn as Jon Stark. It's a play on with words saying he's dead imo.
WightsOfPassage
Either way, the actors have been trolling us pretty hard at this point. It's pretty obvious, looking at the evidence, that he's coming back. As for becoming Jon Stark, I think that's an identity he'll have to accept adapting himself to, resurrection aside. Charlie Hustle
Well with the NW betraying him anyways, I wouldn't be concerned with vows at that point. Especially when you have the windings support now.
Lady Sansa's Direwolf
The answer is, there is an awesome twist as to how he is resurrected. If they stay with the other known occurrences, look at Beric and his 'rebirths'. I think fire has to be involved, to awaken the Targaryen blood inside. One of the ways they were known was through their tolerance of heat and fire. If Tyrion is also a 'Targaryen' as son as posed, that may explain how he releases the dragons from Meereen. PyroclasticFlow
I would love to have the support of the windings. I could just use them and spin around really fast and get super dizzy!!!
0LordCommanderSnow0
I don't see Jon returning after his resurrection with any major personality changes. I'll think we'll see Jon having learned from prior mistakes and a more stern attitude.
Masha
So that after he recovers he no longer will be the same Jon Snow? Does that mean he will be smiling and laughing all the time and ditching that emo / dour look that he has all the time?

Lady Sansa's Direwolf
Did anyone see the article this week where Kit Harrington said he is longer on the show? I keep trying to remember where I saw is, but he made it seem he isn't in next season at all.
sj4iy
She literally can't say he's going to be alive. That's all I take from that quote. The actors can't spill the beans, but they don't need to. It's never been a secret.
