I'm curious to see just how many crew members Adama can forgive before the end, because the list of forgiven crimes is growing:

Tyrol - murder
Thrace - desertion
Adama (Lee) - mutiny
Agathon - murder
Edmundson - mutiny, collaboration with mutiny
Dualla - collaboration with mutiny
Skulls - mutiny

I'm wondering if we can get in at least one more desertion before whatever happens happens.
In today's television and movies, doing bad = good. The days of J. Edgar Hoover demanding that the good guys always win are gone I guess. Guaranteed to produce a much better society, where nothing like school shootings and child killings happen on a large scale.

Today, we chase down terrorists and smoke them out and bring them to justice.
Tomorrow, we let em out of the brig cause their gene seed is precious. :P

For the Emperor!

The greatest scene .
That reminded me of when the show kicked ass. I wasn't really into it during the first couple seasons, I had watched the mini-series but my work schedule back then kept me from watching much prime time television. But I do remember seeing this atmosphere jump.

Wow, I completely forgot about that scene. I'm sure this has been said already, but I'll bet Lee feels like a bit of a dumbass for sacrificing the Pegasus, what with the Galactica falling apart and all.

Badass has a name. And it is Pegasus.

Edward James Olmos going psycho at the United Nations. No, seriously.

My favourite moment from the series is a toss-up between Adama telling Cain where to go at the end of Pegasus ("I'm getting MY MEN!") and Colonel Tigh summing up the situation in Someone to Watch Over Me ("What...the...FRAK?"). Although...atmo drop.

Saul killing Ellen. Need I say more?
This, as well.

Saul Tigh beating up a man half his age and twice his body mass in peak physical condition with a metal pipe also has to be up there.

I should go to bed and watch the episode fresh tomorrow.

But the Sci-Fi Channel's live watching thread is kind of tempting:

SPOILER: WTF?
They leave Romo as Acting President and Hoshi as Acting Admiral of the Fleet? Galactica rams the Colony? There is insane shitloads of CGI? Centurion-on-Centurion violence? ATHENA KILLS BOOMER? Caprica and Baltar see one another's 'angels'?

Mental.

Huh? There's an hour left?

SPOILER: BSG
Racetrack nuked the Colony into oblivion (despite being dead) and Galactica jumped into Real-Earth orbit?

What the hell do they have left to show?

Fuck it, I'm going to bed now and catching up on this tomorrow before I get any more spoilerised.

Didn't Adama release everyone from the brig to make their choice? I think I remember that happening.

It's possible. That episode was so boring I faded in and out both times I watched it.
