On the plus side, Lower Decks is an anime, so that means it could presumably return later down the line, at some point. Family guy and Futurama have both been cancelled several times and returned, so anything is possible.

I mean that’s the character, he’s suppose to be like Spock and show very few emotions.

Rings of Power 5: I Will Take the Thread to Reddit

So if this is true, it's clear as day, they don't have a plan and are just making this up as they go along. -
I'm not sure I like Quentyn Martell being alive either. Truth be told the series just has too many dam characters and will never end unless a few of them die and Prince Frog just doesn't seem all that important, compared to most of the others.

To be fair, any theory that tries to make a big deal out of something minor. Summer seeing a dragon at the end of the second book being a prime example of this. It's clear as day, Summer is just seeing the smoke rise from Winterfell. The lemon tree in Bravos is another example of this.

I like Andor a lot, but for me it suffers a little from being a prequel. I sort of have to ignore that this is the same universe that Darth Vader and Jar Jar Binks exist in and that Andor himself is going to die hours after the final episode of this show. Simply put, part of me wishes Andor was an original show, because it's so much better than what you'd expect from Star Wars.

Most of the stuff that happened in the final 5 seasons of the show, wont happen in the books. -
Westerosi owned Sellsword/sail companies?
sifth replied to KingoftheRiversandtheHills's topic in General (ASoIaF)
Yea, but why aren’t any of these locations just creating their own armies? Trusting a sellsword company seems a lot more risky than using your own army of loyal soldiers. -

I'm honestly wondering how the Sellsword companies survive in Essos. Is that area just always in war and the Free Cities would rather pay outsides of uncertain loyalty to fight for them, in place of using their own armies? -

Now that I think of it. Jamie mentions once that Tywin sent for them. -

I mean it takes a great deal of time for the Golden Company to get from Essos to Westeros in ADWD. There's a 600 to 700 page gap between Jon Con's first chapter, to his second one. With the Brave Companions, Tywin would have to send a representative and that person would need to find them. Phones and text messages don't exist in this universe and raven network doesn't work in Essos. So travel time for the representative, travel time for the representative finding them and the Murmers travel time going to the west. That's a whole lot of travel time. -

It would still take a considerable amount of time for Tywin to send someone to Essos, find them, for them to except his offer and then come to Westeros. I'm thinking 3 to 6 months minimum. Unlike the show, fast travel doesn't exist in this universe, lol Again, unless he had them on standby or something, before the war started. The whole thing feels like a lot of work to just bring a bunch of sociopaths to his side, he had quite a few of them on hand already. You'd think he would have tried for the Golden Company, Tywin does like his gold, lol -

I'm still wondering where the Brave Companions came from. Did Tywin just have them on standby or something? It would have taken them a while to get from Essos to Westeros, yet Tywin seems to be using them right from the start of the war. Was there a massive time skip between Tryion getting captured and the war starting? -
I'm just saying, what would have happened, if Sansa forgot her hairnet that day. She's only a kid after all.
-
So what would LF have done if Sansa forgot to wear her hairnet that day? In fact why even put the poison in the hairnet to begin with? I doubt anyone was frisking Olenna, the day of Joff's wedding. Such a weird plan, when you really think about it.
-
That someone other than Joffrey is responsible for Bran's assassination attempt. Listen, like many it doesn't make a whole lot of sense and honestly I think George only did it to subvert expectations, but I doubt George would have not one, but two characters realize it was Joff's doing, it he meant for it to be a red herring.

Well that was a very EVENTFUL, episode of 97. Easily the shows best, IMO Those last 8 to 10 minutes, wtf, just wtf.

Westerosi Superiority ... or Inferiority?
sifth replied to KingoftheRiversandtheHills's topic in General (ASoIaF)
I mean it depends where you live. For example I think Dorne is the most advanced part of Westeros. Equal rights for women, bastards are treated as part of the family, it's even implied they have no issue with gay people. There's no slaves and the royal family, seems to be mostly good people. Like the rest of Westeros, they don't believe in public fights to the death and are more interested in skill at arms. If we're talking about Essos, well Braavos is the most advanced of the free cities; no slaves, The Iron Bank, known for being friendly to the poor and less fortunate, many seem to have a strong sense of honor; while equal rights aren't exactly a thing here, it's still a lot better than many places, since Arya is allowed to join the Faceless Men. -
Most of the Pink Letter theories I hate. The only ones that make sense is Ramsay himself sending it or possibly Mel.
