What a dumb premise. The US rank and file would not last long as an invading, occupying force in Europe. The US (and others, sadly Norway included) managed to ginny up some rah-rah against brown-skinned muslims post 9/11 (and let's not forget that the Afghans absolutely kicked the allied's ass pound for pound there), but I give a US ground invasion 30 minutes of protests before the common soldiery come to their senses, and realize that Trump is a sack of shit not worth fighting for.
