But my other fave is Jaime, and although I don't really approve of his two main sins (pushing Bran and fucking his sister), I can understand how he justified them to himself. Cersei convinced him from a very early age that they were "meant" to be together, and he was always faithful to her, which is admirable in its own way. In his society, the royal family had always married brother to sister, and his dad was obsessed with becoming equals with the Targs. So, his incest wasn't all that bad. He shouldn't have cuckolded Robert, but that marriage wasn't really his or Cersei's choice. Shoving Bran out the window was a horrible act, but if Bran had died lots of lives would have been spared from that war not really accelerating as fast.
