CaulShivers
If they have to make Hotah a token character, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje could pull it off, like Hotah is he tall, muscular, probably close in age and a really good actor.

Deadwood
Lee would have been great in many roles years ago. Now, I could have seen him as Bloodraven. That voice.

Broken Wolf
I hope they keep Hotah even if he doesn't have much to do, cause he's kinda badass. And I would also nominate Peter Mensah. BTW, I see a few people nominated the Rock and Ron Perlman and then dismissed them on the grounds of not being very good actors. The Rock may not be a brilliant actor, but he is Sidney fricking Poitier compared to Ron - listen, my voice is stuck on permanent monotonous American drawl - Perlman. Deadwood
The Rock had the promise of being a decent actor when he started out. He's mostly gone for lazy big money projects since...and not even good ones.
Broken Wolf
He acts well in those big money projects though. It's the movies that are bad, not him.
TheButcherCrow
Anybody give a shout to Chris Judge? http://www.gateworld.net/news/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/judge_ageofhobbits02.jpg I think he would be perfect to be honest. Teal'c is fairly similar to Hotah (strong, silent warrior type) so he would pretty much just be reprising a role. Can't have anyone too good in this role (no offense Chris), it's doesn't require a huge amount of range. It requires looking badass with an axe. Deadwood
He acts well in those big money projects though. It's the movies that are bad, not him. Yeah he acts well in severely limiting roles. It's not a stretch, that's why I used the term lazy. Whether he has range remains to be seen due to his choices. It's like muscles, acting chops need to be stretched in their full range of motion, or you remain limited by your choices.
King Aegon The Conqueror
Peter Mensah needs to take the role without a doubt!! He was fooking amazing as Oneamaeous in Spartacus!

I pictured Idris Elba when I read him, Laurence Fishburne could be awesome also but signing them would be as hard as Viggo for the part. Adewale guy is a bit too dumb-looking for the character.
