I don't think there's any chance he leaves OKC, there is just so much there for him to like.  He and Westbrook are the best 1/2 punch in the league.  Adams and Ibaka are athletic big men, and create matchup problems for both GSW and SA.  The problem is just lack of depth.  If they had one more solid 3 and D guy who can play good (not great, just good) defense while making open threes, they beat the Warriors.  Roberson did that for a few games, but then his shot completely disappeared in games 5-7.

3-and-D guys are obviously valuable, but they're a lot easier to find than great rebounders, and guys who can create their own shot, and OKC already has both of those things covered.

I dunno why he's not on the court more, because I only saw him in game 5, but Anthony Morrow seems like a guy that can sink outside shots with a high percentage. Maybe his D is off or other aspects of his game need development, but damn, he was 100% in game 5 including two 3 pointers. And the commentators seemed to think he was a very reliable shooter.

I'm amused by the series of headlines about teams throwing their hat in the ring of the Kevin Durant derby. Really, the Knicks and Hawks are interested in Kevin Durant? Intriguing! I mean if you guys really think he's better than Ken Bazemore and Aaron Afflalo go for it, but I'm not quite that bold. I need to hear from Vivek - does he think KD could help the Kings?

Even better was when Durant said he needed to "see what was out there". Hey Kevin, you want a list of the teams interested in your services?  It's all of them.  Hope that helps.

There are maybe a couple of teams that don't have the cap room to sign a max deal, but there's a good chance every one of those teams would create that space if you ask them to.

Even the Nets?? We'll just have to see about that.

You're right, the Nets might not want him until he turns 34.  They could trade their 2022, 2024 and 2026 first round picks for him.

That is amusing. The Brick Men, LoL.

Watched the other 4 as well, this is fun stuff. I also liked the previous one where Kobe pets the soft teddy bear and says to Howard, "That is the softest thing in all the Land, what a wonderful memento to remember you by Dwight". :)

Again, that's why Durant is signing the 1 year deal.  He hits the 10 year veteran (i.e. super max threshold) at that point.  He will get closer to 40 million at that point.

Gaming the system for a little extra cash doesn't matter that much to the superstars anymore. They'll all make far more in endorsements than they will for actually playing basketball. Most of these guys are more loyal to their shoe deals than their clubs.

I'll need to stick around the forum long enough to talk shit about this finals series with y'all. Last year was such a good time.

predictions?

I want to see LeBron just go off and dominate, but more likely he will be left holding his engorged cock by the likes of Kyrie, Smith, and Love. I see Frye as a big time contributor in this series.

Warrior in 6 =(

I'm going with the Cavs in 6. The logical conclusion of this NBA season was always a healthy Cavs team cruising through the East and finally being able to test their mettle against the Warriors. I think the key here is that both Love and Smith are playing consistently. I think Frye pulling their bigs away from the rack is gonna make a big difference. I think Kyrie will look to show the world that this team is in good hands if he runs the show. I think LeBron will dominate.

Warriors win tonight, Cavs win Game 2, Warriors win Game 3, and Cavs win games 4, 5, and 6 to take it home.
