I think the death of the Freys set up the dynamic of the power struggle; Cersei's dialogue establishes what Sansa said to Jon (concentration on the threat above the wall while there is a threat south of it); flash of the threat north of the wall and regular appearances of the players set everything up nicely Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
