The Drowned Prophet
Seen a few rumors going around that Bran and Hodor won't appear in Season 5. http://www.nerdist.com/2014/09/a-shocking-game-of-thrones-casting-update-has-hit-the-web-and-weve-got-questions/ http://insidetv.ew.com/2014/09/03/bran-stark-game-of-thrones-season-5/?hootPostID=08a191d3227d9189659a0bb4ff6b946f Is this for real? What do you think?
Brandon the Wise
I saw these rumours too, they even made it onto Mashable and IMDb. Personally I think the Australian interviewer who chatted to Kristian (Hodor) misinterpreted his use of "we" to also include Bran. We may not see Hodor, but I'm pretty sure we'll see Bran as I'm sure he's already begun filming. When he was talking about his new movie (in august), he said: Isaac, are you excited for what is coming up on Game of Thrones? HEMPSTEAD-WRIGHT: Yeah. There’s certainly some more action stuff, rather than sitting down in various forests, all over Westeros.
The Drowned Prophet
Yeah, I agree that will probably see Bran at some point, but I don't think we'll see much of him. No Hodor at all would be bad though.
boojam
Did not Octavia Alexandru say she was in episode 1 S5? Defacto that seems to imply the other actors too, or at least Bran, for a little bit. A scene filmed in S4 not used.
Red Tiger
Having no scenes of the gang after season 4 ended with one of them killed? Trust me, they're gonna be in season 5.
Rhaegal Targaryen
No HODOR?WE RIOT.
Lord Lyman
I remember watching that same video on YouTube. While plausible, I just don't see them leaving out one of the main cast members.
Konradsmith
This has been discussed at length on other threads. All of the articles are using the same source so the info IS NOT coming from multiple sources. So we only have confirmation of Nairn/Hodor. Until we get Isaac/Bran confirmation let's not get carried away.
Lord Lyman
This interview has the question Brandon_Stark posted earlier(15:15). It also has a question at about the 16:50 mark, asking when him when he's going to start filming. Unless he can't say anything, in neither answer does he say he won't be in Season 5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mn93CENCfNA
Lady of Butterflies
Isaac gave a new interview today. He said (at the end of the video) that his next project is "The next season of Game of Thrones and school". But again, he can (and probably) only be misleading. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ej9RGdCBMvs
The King Of Cooked Steak
Not surprised. They're trying to slow down the progress of the show, and give GRRM more time to finish. It's a good thing I suppose.
White Harbors Wrath
They're not, absolutely not slowing down the pace. IF they would omit Bran it slows one story arc. Unless the whole rest of the final two books are just Bran it's not helping GRRM much at all.
Starkfaithful85
if we have no hodor how will he become TPWWP? :)

Bran's my favourite character ever since I read the first book and discovered we shared a name. The cast are currently filming now while Isaac is on a world tour promoting his new movie Boxtrolls. He's in Venice at the moment, doesn't look good tbh
MrsGreyjoy
I doubt this is true, but I'd love it if it was. His story is basically "caught up" to where the books left off. I find his POV chapters to be a snooze fest... But then again, that's just one person's opinion. I love other characters that seem to be pretty unpopular. He mentioned filming had already started during the Comiccon interview, so its very likely that they filmed his stuff first.
Cas Stark
There is a ton of media coverage of this, I don't get it, do people think that the guy playing Hodor doesn't know what he's talking about when he says they are not in season 5?
Lord Lyman
All the media coverage stems from one interview Kristian Nairn gave. He only plays a minor character and the absent of Hodor wouldn't be that much of a surprise. There has been no confirmation from Dave or Dan and Isaac has yet to mention in any interviews that he's not filming season 5. He's had plenty of question about the season while promoting The Boxtrolls.
Mark Antony
I was hoping they would redeem the butchering of the bloodraven meet but guess not
Cas Stark
I was hoping they would redeem the butchering of the bloodraven meet but guess not Presumably the absence of Hodor and Bran will mean no more Jason and the Argonauts skeletons, so that's a plus.
