Liaraeyne
I want to analyze Moqorro’s quote a bit more. I think it could reveal a lot. ‘’Dragons old and young, true and false, bright and dark. And you. A small man with a big shadow, snarling in the midst of it all.’’ Moqorro to Tyrion in ADWD Old: Aemon (or maybe Bloodraven)Young: Jon? True: Dany (or maybe Aemon)False: fAegon, or Quentyn? Bright: ?Dark: Bloodraven? Ben Plumm? Darkstar? I’m only sure about the old and true dragon. The young is probably Jon Snow, although I think he is older than Dany by a couple of months... False dragon is fAegon, if not, there must be another fake dragon out there. If fAegon is a Blackfyre, then he is still fake because he pretends to be the true heir Aegon VI. Illyrio has said ‘’Red or black, a dragon is still a dragon’’ and that the Blackfyre male line no longer exists. He does not mention what happened to the female line. Edit: the false dragon could also be Quentyn. He wanted to prove himself worthy to Daenerys and thought he had enough dragon blood. The dragonpit proved that false. Dark dragon possibilities:- Bloodraven. He is in a very dark place and tells Bran to embrace darkness. He's also symbolized as a crow, a black animal. His own coloring is as light as can be, though (albino).- Ben Plumm is a possibility. He has dragon blood, Viserion liked him. And his skin is brown, ‘’dark’’.- Viserys. Viserys has only been dead for a couple of years and had a personality that could be considered dark. Also, his fate was ‘’dark’’. I don’t think this is likely though. - Gerold Darkstar. The ‘’dark’’ is in his name, he says he is of the night and he is a douche. He basically looks like a younger Rhaegar with silver hair and dark purple eyes, and Arianne notes that if she married him their children would be ‘’as beautiful as dragonlords’’. Daynes can have Valyrian features like the Targaryens, but maybe Darkstar is a Targaryen bastard. Apparently Aerys II whored around a lot. Gerold Darkstar is also considered very cruel, that could have been inherited from Aerys II. - fAegon, if he's a ''black''fyre, but then we'd need Quentyn to be the false dragon. That leaves the ‘’bright’’ dragon. Who is that? Associations we could have with bright:- The sun is brighter than anything and is Martell’s sigil. Maybe Aegon VI or Rhaenys are alive. Or maybe there is another Martell-Targaryen bastard. - Aerion ‘’Bright’’flame. He left an infant son that was passed over in succession. I read a theory that fAegon could have descended from him through Illyrio (some say that a Lyseni woman Illyrio married had Valyrian features and could have descended from Aerion Brightflame, who was exiled to Lys). That still makes fAegon fake though, he is still pretending to be someone he’s not. And then we’d need Quentyn to be the false dragon. - Intelligence/brightness: Tyrion? Unlikely though, Moqorro names this list and then says ‘’and you’’ to Tyrion. This basically rules out Tyrion as the ‘’bright dragon’’.Varys is smart as well and some think he’s a Blackfyre. The ‘’rys’’ part in his name means fire (in book Valyrian, not show Valyrian). Maybe I’m forgetting some stuff. What do you guys think?
TallTyrion
Dark dragon also work for Aegon if he is a Blackfyre.

Ser Yolo Swaggins
It could also be a reference to their looks. Old: AemonYoung: Jon, Dany (Jon is around 8-9 months older than Dany)True: Jon, DanyFalse: fAegonBright: Dany, Possible Aemon ( Valyrian Looks)Dark: Jon (Stark looks) Just a guess
aryagonnakill#2
Varys could be the bright dragon as he came from Lys he could be the brother of Ilyrio's wife, both of whom were descendants of Aeron Brightflame. Varys could also be the bright dragon and not have a sister so it doesn't also have to tie into Aegon. Dragons young and old doesn't necessarily have to refer to 1 specific person, Jon, Dany, and Aegon are all young, and Aemon and Bloodraven are both old. Bright and dark could also refer to their overall effect in the war against the great other, as Moqorro views it. For example, Jon, Aemon, BR, and possibly Dany will fight against the WW's, or fight on the bright side, whereas Aegon is likely just going to cause more death and destruction right before the WW's arrive, essentially helping the WW's, or fighting for the dark side. Liaraeyne
Oh, I totally forgot about Bloodraven. He could be old/bright/dark. Probably dark. But I also really like the idea of Gerold Darkstar being the dark dragon.
The Bastard of Walton
Dragons Old (Aemon & Bloodraven) & Young (Dany, Jon & possibly Aegon), True (Trueborn Aemon, Dany & possibly Aegon) & False (Bastards Jon & BR), Bright (In the open: Dany & Maybe Aegon) & Dark (Hidden/Nights watch: Jon, Aemon & Bloodraven). Snoop Arryn
First 2 relate as the last 2 known Targs in the world. Old - AemonYoung - Dany Next 2 relate, as their identities are in question. True - JonFalse - fAegon Last 2 get tricky, more of a stretch with current information... If you suscribe to the Illyrio and Varys theories out there, these 2 definitely relate. Bright - VarysDark - Illyrio ^ those 6 are also all characters that Tyrion has met. (or in Dany's case, on his way to meet.)
Gibzit
Couldn't quentyn also be a possiblity for false dragon? He tried to convince dany he has dragon blood, which was proved to be false in the dragonpits.
Amoracchius
This has been discussed a few times before. He tried to convince dany he has dragon blood, which was proved to be false in the dragonpits. But Quentyn is a Dragon. He does have dragon blood. Viserys is also a real Targaryen and Drogon could have roasted him if he had tried to hurt Dany.
Amoracchius
But Quentyn is a Dragon. He does have dragon blood. Viserys is also a real Targaryen and Drogon could have roasted him if he had tried to hurt Dany. Yeah, Quentyn definitely had dragonblood, just as Viserys did, and just as Rhaenyra did. They all got burned in the end.
tyrions@
It could only be talking about Dany and Aegon. Dany could be the old, the true and the bright dragon. Aegon could be the new, false and dark dragon. Dany has been recognized as a dragon all her life and most of the world thought of her as the last dragon after she conquered slavers bay. Aegon has just recently brought forth his claim as a dragon and could be considered the new dragon. If Aegon is a Blackfyre than he could be considered a false dragon and Dany the true dragon. Aegon would also be the dark dragon due to him being a Blackfyre and Dany would be the bright dragon because the red three headed dragon is the sigil of house Targaryen. Tyrion has already influenced Aegons decision to invade Westeros and it appears that he will somehow influence Dany on some of her big decisions in the near future. Interesting, when I was writing the opening post Quentyn's name kept popping into my head, but I kept dismissing it. You make an interesting point however. I will add it. Now we have another fake dragon besides fAegon, it's getting interesting. But Quentyn is a Dragon. He does have dragon blood. Viserys is also a real Targaryen and Drogon could have roasted him if he had tried to hurt Dany. If we're going that road, we have too many dragons. There are people with drops of dragon blood all over Westeros. Stannis, for example, is quarter Targaryen. He has more Targaryen blood than Quentyn. I only named Ben Plumm because he has ''two drops'' of dragon blood and Viserion liked him (if Ben Plumm did what Quentyn did, I don't think he would have gotten burned). Viseryon liked him, but nothing assures us that Drogon and Rhaegal shared that opinion.

That's also a way of looking at it. In that case: Aemon: old, true and bright (wise) Dany: young, true and bright (dragons) Bloodraven: old, false (bastard, though a legitimized one), true (legitimized), dark, bright (albino) fAegon: false, dark (blackfyre), young Jon: false (bastard), young Ben Plumm: old, dark Quentyn: false Darkstar: false (bastard), dark
Lost Melnibonean
Tyrion is like the deuteragonist of a classical play. The deuteragonist would bounce between the protagonist, Daenerys in this second Dance, and the antagonist, Aegon, suggesting that old & young are House Targaryen & House Blackfyre, true & false are Daenerys Daughter of Aerys & Aegon son of Rhaegar, and bright & dark are the red dragon & the black dragon. Liaraeyne
^That's interesting. Then we have old (Aemon), young (Jon), true (Dany) and fake (fAegon). Then we're only missing bright and dark. Maybe that's a foreshadowing of who Tyrion will meet in the future.
