Tower of Joy confirmed for season 6

King of the Narrow Sea

Ok, I finally saw the famous tower.

I dunno you guys, but Rhaegar's dick can't be that square shaped and short. I'm disappointed :(

Also is <--

The rest is ok. The base is like the balls, which is great because they originated Jon. Good job with the phallic allegory.

(yes, Virginia... the tower of joy is Rhaegar's penis).

This one is the best rendition of Rhaegar's tower of joy:

If they are like the "castle" can have sometimes have red tints because of the light, like here.

@JCRB, now I know of what your JC (your avatar) is dreaming of.

Show of hands..............how many will be surprised if D&D don't turn the Tower of Joy into some type of Orgy?

Lol I know you're joking, but if you read the rest of the article, the new casting breakdown for Arthur Dayne has him shooting his scenes in Ireland, not Spain (which is the location of the castle they're using for the TOJ). He still has his fight sequence, which will now by done by a stunt double who presumably will be doing Arthur's shooting in Spain outside the TOJ, but it seems like whoever they cast as Arthur is going to be having extra scenes that aren't just the fight. Watchers on the Wall speculated he has a scene inside the tower before the fight.

So the orgy idea might actually be on the table lol

Lyanna was in the middle of a orgy with three members of the Kingsguard CONFIRMED when Ned arrived at the Tower of Joy.

"I looked for you on the Trident,” Ned said to them.
HBO: "Where were you at the Trident?" Ned whined.

“We were not there,” Ser Gerold answered.
HBO: "We were here," Ser Gerold shrugged.

“Woe to the Usurper if we had been,” said Ser Oswell.
HBO: "Otherwise Robert would be dead," said Ser Oswell.

“When King's Landing fell, Ser Jaime slew your king with a golden sword, and I wondered where you were.”
HBO: "Jaime killed the king."

“Far away,” Ser Gerold said, “or Aerys would yet sit the Iron Throne, and our false brother would burn in seven hells.”
HBO: "Kingslayer!" sneered Ser Gerold.

“I came down on Storm's End to lift the siege,” Ned told them, and the Lords Tyrell and Redwyne dipped their banners, and all their knights bent the knee to pledge us fealty. I was certain you would be among them.”
HBO: "I didn't see you at the surrender at Storm's End," Ned told them.

“Our knees do not bend easily,” said Ser Arthur Dayne.
HBO: "Surrendering is for cunts," said Ser Arthur Dayne.

“Ser Willem Darry is fled to Dragonstone, with your queen and Prince Viserys. I thought you might have sailed with him.”
HBO: "What about Dany?"

“Ser Willem is a good man and true,” said Ser Oswell.
HBO: "She's safe," said Ser Oswell.

“But not of the Kingsguard,” Ser Gerold pointed out. “The Kingsguard does not flee.”
HBO: "We don't run, though," pointed out Ser Gerold.

“Then or now,” said Ser Arthur. He donned his helm.
HBO: "Never," said Ser Arthur, without a helmet.

“We swore a vow,” explained old Ser Gerold.
HBO: "It's all part of the plan," explained Littlefinger, suddenly appearing from behind a bush.

Ned’s wraiths moved up beside him, with shadow swords in hand. They were seven against three.
HBO: Ned, by himself, drew two swords and spun them around like lightsabers.

“And now it begins,” said Ser Arthur Dayne, the Sword of the Morning. He unsheathed Dawn and held it with both hands. The blade was pale as milkglass, alive with light.
HBO: "It starts now," said Ser Arthur Dayne, drawing a nondescript sword.

“No,” Ned said with sadness in his voice. “Now it ends.”
HBO: "Wrong," Ned said with a snarl in his voice. "It ends now."
