She's probably one of the top five favorite characters of the general audience.

Sandra, too. Funny, in a couple of scenes, Lyanna Mormont is more well-liked than Sandra, a main character for 6 seasons. I like Lyanna, too. At least she gave us "Sandra"... Le Cygne
4 hours ago, Cas Stark said: Yeah, I wasn't on her side for a nano-second. But, it's kind of funny, considering how many people have claimed that "Carol" Lannister isn't really sympathetic in the show, and anyone who sees that is nitpicking. Hmmm. The actress who plays her sees that, in fact, Lena thinks Carol is so sympathetic that she expects the audience to go 'hell yeah' when she straps down a nun and leaves her with the Mountain. If that's not a white wash, nothing is. Not even a nanosecond.
Le Cygne
And the telegraphing. They say they are going to do something. They do it. That's not the way other shows do it. Where did they get this idea, to have characters say what's going to happen so clearly. Maybe it helps them keep the plot straight.

They have to be reading scripts that we do not see and filming scenes that we do not view to believe bullshit like that, Carol is a monster and only a sadist could sympathise with her! She performs whatever heinous act she desires because it "feels good" the bloody psychopath she is!

SeanF
10 hours ago, Cas Stark said: Fuck yes. I lost my mind for a moment and forgot we're talking about Carol and not Cersei. LOL. Certainly, you are correct, Carol would never throw her best friend down a well and be such a freak she still resents her almost 20 years later.... Now that Carol has gone Black Dress Evil, I must say again, that I have a high tolerance for people displaying base emotions over trivial stuff, but I was really, truly shocked that so many thought Spoonella deserved it?! The fuck is wrong with people. She's a fucking NUN. I could see being happy the High Cobbler got it, he's a hypocrite, misogynist and never shuts the fuck up, LOL, and has caused all kinds of destruction in KL, oh and he hates the gays...but Spoonella? To cheer and feel happy about that? OMG we are destined for ruin as a society. 8 hours ago, Cas Stark said: Did you see Lena's interview where she said that scene was originally going to be much more graphic?! Which I assume means we would have been treated to Spoonella's graphic rape and associated torture. I wonder who red flagged that bad idea and how they got Dan and Dave to roll back on the torture porn? Sweet. Some of the scenes involving Ramsay and Theon struck me as a bit cartoonish. The scene involving Cersei and Unella really made by skin crawl. If that was the intention of the Show's producers, then well done. There's nothing amusing about prolonged torture and probable rape. But, I have the nagging feeling that the producers wanted, and expected, viewers to identify with Cersei at this point, and to be titillated at the thought of what was going to happen to her prisoner. And Lena's interview rather strengthens that suspicion in my view. All of Cersei's horribly suggestive touching gives a clear indication to me of where this scene was going. And, I wonder, if at the last moment, they thought they couldn't quite get away with showing Cersei sexually abusing a prisoner.

I found myself voting for Yara and Ellaria quite a lot. That said, best Emmy Award dialogue really should go to "I'm going to fuck the tits off this one." IMO, it knocks everything else out of the park.

Just remember that last year's Emmy for "outstanding writing" was won by the bad pussy episode.

I was torn between Daenerys/Yara or Yara/sex slave, but in the end, I opted for the latter.

Me too.....she is the pop princess. weak men should not rule.....- Cersei and Ellaria the Mad Usurpers I choose violence- the POV's of GOT...."empowered" women I honestly didn't see the point in not giving to Fellaria the line of "Fire and Blood"....shenis an empowered woman now.....that line should be hers. I suppose they couldn't help but write some teleportation....

TepidHands
Oh my stars, I just realized Unella was playing Taena Merryweather... well except for Taena being a willing partner to Cersei's touches and not a bound sexual assault victim later turned over to an undead RAPIST (who removed his helmet, not his armor)...
