James Steller
For my part, I’m going with Bittersteel.
Maegor_the_Cool
Bittersteel. Easily. Bloodraven sounds like something an edgy 15 year old boy comes up with while listening to Ghost because he thinks they are hardcore and dark. People might not like this, but it is the truth: Darkstar sounds better and is less edgy than Bloodraven. James Steller

Otatop1000
I’m a fan of all things “North”. But for some reason I cannot side with the Blackwoods. I pick Bittersteel cause he is Bracken.
Jon Fossoway
In my native tongue, Bittersteel sounds better to me ('Aceroamargo'). Bloodraven has a convoluted translation to spanish ('Cuervo de Sangre'). In english, reading as a spanish native speaker, Bloodraven sounds more fluid than Bittersteel, so I prefer it over Aegor. Honestly, BR enjoys a bit too much plot armor. Maekar deeply disliked him and BR even threatened to make Egg hostage, and still made retained him as Hand upon becoming King? Groo
Bittersteel is a more realistic sounding nickname but Bloodraven is more evocative. Bloodraven works better in a fantasy novel. Bittersteel is kind of one dimensional. The Duck and the Field
The Duck and the Field
I agree that "Bittersteel" sounds better. I also like the sound of the name "Aegor Rivers" more than "Brynden Rivers".
Gilbert Green
They are both villains. I'm surprised nobody thinks Bloodraven is a better villain name. It obviously is. I would not want such a name myself, but I would not want to be called "bitter" either. It is also a pun on Brynden Rivers, which is deliberately sounds like. That alone makes it more clever. Castellan
Beneath the gold, the bitter steel. Can't beat having your men boil your head dip the skull in gold and nail it to a standard to make your name extra memorable.
Corvo the Crow
Hungry Wolf beats them all. Or perhaps eats them?
