What is the sex scene you want to see?

Recommended Posts

The Jon/Yigritte scenes should be pretty hot. I'm also hoping for some flash backs of Lyanna/Rhagaer.

And please some Renly/Loras scenes.

IIRC were all of jon and ygrittes scenes not under huge piles of furs. julandro wants to see lots of naked flesh and shit.

Tyrion and Ros :leer:

What you don't know who Ros is? She is of course the red headed whore played by the stunning Esme Bianco which is an additional sex scene filmed for the Pilot Episode last year which will help introduce Tyrion's character in a more HBO way.

The lengths HBO will go to include more sex in the show...even creating new characters to please. Julandro should be happy. :D

My preference for the sex is to see it, because it's part of life, but i don't want it to be gratuitous or 'prettied up'. Jon and Ygritte being completely covered by furs is a good example - I see no need to show any skin beyond a flash because it's still going to be perfectly obvious what's happening. As was mentioned, a lot of the sex in the series is the opposite of hot and I want it to stay true to that. Real sex can be messy and awkward and downright silly at times, and I would rather see those moments than the flattering lighting and ligering shots of perfect bodies in artful poses.

I'm always amazed when people point out the amount of sex in the series. The first time someone said that I had to think about it before I realized they were right. It's just that it's presented as part of the characters and it never seemed out of place or gratuitous to me, thus faded into the tapestry of their lives. It wasn't flung in our faces for the sake of it, nor was it left out and they fade tastefully to black. I have perfect confidence in HBO to get this balance right.

If I had to pick one scene that I'm interested in seeing, it is Tyrion and Sansa's wedding night - a non sex scene actually. That scene is always so sad to me. I'd like to think that had they been able to truly communicate somehow without their own prejudices and hurts getting in the way that they would have made a good marriage out of it.

I agree with you. It's part of their characters, but I guess if you're not used to read about sex, especially in fantasy...one could think there are many ;). Additionally, some of the sex scenes are quite disturbing. But they're handled very well.

Oh, and there is this scene with Jon and Ygritte where both are very naked. Remember the scene in this cave? The Lord's kiss?

While I don't really agree with julandro about Cersei-Lancel, there are scenes which I suppose are important as moments of characterization. Daenerys sleeping with Drogo beneath the stars in the middle of the Dothraki camp, for example, is quite a development over the months of her journey. I think the raw physicality of Tyrion's relationship with Shae should stay as far as possible -- not just because it'd push some boundaries for what you'd see on TV (dwarfs don't have sex outside of certain varieties of porn) in a way that reminds you that, yes, this is HBO, but because it provides a basis from which to begin to see Tyrion develop feelings for Shae which viewers may suspect are not really being reciprocated (and many will, I suspect, wonder just how wise it is).

It would be a very happy person, if they show the sex scene between Cersie and Lancel. ;)

Why not just an entire episode devoted to hot, steamy, Hodor orgies?

Honestly, it'd be a refreshing change to hear, "HODOR! HODOR! HOOODOOOOOOOR!" instead of, "God! Oh god! OH GOD!!!!!"

I guarantee you that this scene will NOT be filmed as written in the book. Sophie Turner is only just 14 (or soon will be) and will be very much underage when they get there which obviously means no nudity. There are ways to communicate the sadness of the event without seeing Tyrion's "man-staff".
