New York, N.Y., February 19, 2013 – One of the most popular fantasy television series – HBO’s Emmy® and Golden Globe®-winning Game of Thrones – will come alive for fans in an immersive, not-to-be-missed touring exhibition that will transport viewers into the breathtaking and enchanted world of Westeros. The traveling exhibit, the first of its kind by HBO, has been created to bring the vivid and rich world of Westeros to fans in five international cities – Toronto, Canada; New York City, New York; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Amsterdam, North Holland and Belfast, Northern Ireland. Presented by HBO and international partners, the exhibition is free to the public and focuses on key characters from five of the noble houses (Stark, Lannister, Targaryen, Baratheon and Greyjoy), showcasing a treasure trove of more than 70 original artifacts from seasons 1 and 2, plus select pieces from this year’s new season.read on >>>

I went earlier today to the Toronto exhibit, very much enjoyed it. Lots to see, lines we're nicely regulated so waiting was not long at all (only two lines, one to get in and one for the Iron Throne replica). Enjoy!

Unfortunately, although the photos I saw earlier this week showed Rose Leslie at a table speaking to people, as well as adjusting the Ygritte costume in the Night's Watch/Wall section, there were no actors to be seen anywhere :/

The exhibit opens in NYC on Thursday. The info email I got from Time Warner Cable who is the co-sponsor here says if you bring your cable bill you will be placed in a Fast Pass lane (hopefully it will mean a shorter wait.)

I'll probably go early next week and drop back to report if there's anything new to share.

Just got back from NYC. Saw the exhibit. Great costumes and props. Arrived an hour before opening and still had to wait in line for over 2.5 hours. Luckily it wasn't cold. All in all it was worth it for photos on the IT and getting to see other Westerosi geeks suck as myself.

Visit the exhibition today here in Sao Paulo. It was amazing to see so many fan together, good chatting and sharing on the line and loved to see the costumes and props, specially the weaponry and jewelry. Also cool to take a picture in the iron throne. Liam Cunningham and Alfie Allen came to open the event, but unfortunately didn't stay long enough to the opening for the fans.
