Ramsay's Penguins
A town in the country, very agricultural. So The Ring, Grassy Vale, Tumbleton or Smithyton etc.Otherwise a coastal city on the west coast, like Oldtown, but with more similarities to Lannisport. Pity there is no Dornish cities, that'd be the most similar.

JonCon's Red Beard
Title sounds like you want to rob us. I live in a place called Free Folk, btw. But my country is more Tolkien-oriented. My capitol is called the City of Kings, the second most important city is called the White City.
larastone
Lannisport/Casterly Rock probably comes closest
sj4iy
Summerhall, probably. In the South, but not in the hottest part, and not on the coast.
WinterRaven
If you're asking what place in ASOIAF is analogous to my real-world hometown then probably somewhere in the North, Torrhen's Square or Winterfell or something. However, if you mean where would I choose to live then I would say probably Dorne or Highgarden.

Visenya Stark
I live far from the ocean and it's in the North, so Winterfell. But there's a lot of agriculture, so maybe the Vale.
Aetta
Hmmm...I'm southwest of the capital of my country, but in the mountains, so maybe the Dornish Marches. But it's not that hot here-Except when hubby and I visit the Tower of Joy...
Witch
Dorne, maybe the Reach.
Baela of Pentos
I'd think Sacramento would be somewhere in the Westerlands, not too far inland, on a river...Casterly Rock? Also a good choice because it's a seat of government if not necessarily the largest city in the region.I agree, especially given the history of the gold rush. The Bay Area is likey Lannisport.
